Would have liked a fridge in the room. Rickford is a rural location. Make sure you go via Leg Lane and not The Batch, which would take you through a deep ford. Very little parking. Get there early!

A lovely old pub in an out of the way village. Perfect one night stay for a reunion of 3 old mates. Our 3 bedrooms were clean, modern, with good bathrooms and views across the stream. Good pub grub and full English breakfast. Excellent value for money. Great mine host. Lively locals pub in the evening.

    Bed was too soft.

Great location for a wedding nearby. Good food. Friendly owners and staff. Very helpful - we were running late and would arrive after the kitchen closed, so they saved us some pizza.

The lack of parking was difficult although fortunately we were lucky and managed to find somewhere. Very restricted parking facilities due to the location of the pub near a stream and on a very narrow road. The carpet in the bedroom was very worn and dated. The evening meal options were restricted, mainly pizza options.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. A very good breakfast was provided. A good TV and comfortable bed. Good shower.

Quiet country pub with a friendly atmosphere. Only a short distance off the motorway, but felt like you’re miles from anywhere. I’d highly recommend the home made burger. Excellent!

Excellent customer service as they went out of their way to return quickly some items I had left behind- and didn't charge me postage up front. Attractive cottagey twin room and 3 minutes from the wedding venue. I would happily stay again

We came to stay for a wedding in the area. The room was great, large space with a large bed and en-suite. Everything was really clean & coffee and tea facilities in the room. Great breakfast in the morning, and the staff were wonderful! So helpful and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

Would have liked a tray for beverages in the room. A shelf in the bathroom for wash bags would have been useful. Also a Welcome Pack of local attractions.

Good value accommodation. Bed was comfy, room spacious and had a great view overlooking a field of sheep, lambs and pheasants. Dog friendly. The food was excellent. Served a good pint of real ales. Lovely village and easily accessible to Cheddar Gorge, Blagdon and Wells.
