I have never given a perfect 10 so readily. Once you have successfully managed the steep driveway to the house, Wendy and Steven welcome you into their very cosy B2B. The rooms are large, very clean, the beds comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired. But we especially liked the hospitality, the great conversations and very good tips. Many thanks also for the delicious banana bread - we still need the recipe! Many greetings from Switzerland!

This B&B is just great! The breakfast first of all is delicious, set in a beautiful room overlooking the trees. The room was very spacious and comfortable, extremely quiet for relaxing and deep sleeping. There is free onsite parking and several restaurants and cafés are just a short walk away. However, what truly stands out in this property is the hosts: they go not just the extra mile but the extra five miles for you, making sure you will find the place before your arrival, making sure you have everything you need at breakfast, offering tea and baked goods to welcome you home, suggesting restaurants and hiking spots. I couldn't recommend Pine Lodge enough, it is truly the best place to stay!

Absolutely nothing, sorry to come home..

Received a warm welcome upon arrival including a cup of tea and a slice of lemon drizzle cake. Wendy & Steven couldn't do enough for you. The good breakfast to start the day, and wise with their knowledge of the area. Lovely location with safe walking route into Lynton. Plenty to do with no need to use the car. Loved our walk to Watersmead and back via Lynmouth. Great places to eat: The Crown, The Old Bank, and The Cottage (at the bottom of the drive upto Pine Lodge. Loved the location and Pine Lodge so much we opted to stay a 5th night!

Honestly, I can't think of anything.

Easy. 3 words - all of it! The room was large and spacious, at the front of the house with views of the steep woodlands opposite and the gentle trickling sounds of the West Lyn River below. The ensuite had a great shower plus the hand soap and shower gel provided smelt amazing. It was the largest and comfiest bed I've slept in (that's not my own) and the cooked breakfast comprising locally sourced ingredients was absolutly delicious. The owners, Wendy & Steven, could not more helpful. We were even offered a cup of tea and a slice of lemon cake on arrival - above and beyond customer care!

We loved the location.a short walk along a tarmacked path into Lynton and for the intrepid a few steps from a great walk to Watersmeet. An absolute Gem National trust T Room on the river to break the round trip.

I have an electric car. Charging points in the vacinity were lacking -either Barnstable or Minehead being the nearest for reasonably fast chargers.

Location excellent. Breakfast very filling, good quality, with variety. Lots of choice when going out for evening meals.
