It’s a beautiful cottage with everything you need ie pots pans etc for cooking/dining. A lovely welcome basket, milk bread fresh eggs, tea coffee. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful. Clean & heated.

This is not a complaint but a suggestion. The step to the main entrance is a little bit high for someone with walking difficulties and would benefit with an interim step to make life easier.

Everything was as expected after reading a few reviews before selecting the place. My wife has walking difficulties so want somewhere that was completely on the ground floor and close to where I parked the car. Everything inside the property was clean and in, as new condition.

We stayed here as we were up for the weekend to watch the Superbikes at Oulton Park. The cottage is in a great location for this and a great place to relax after watching the bikes all day.

This gorgeous cottage was a home from home. It was in a great location: quiet and in the countryside yet so close to so many things to do. Our family of 4 LOVED this cottage. It had 2 lovely bedrooms and the living room and kitchen had all the facilities needed for a self catering break. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet location near to Chester.

The cottage was beautiful, the hosts provided us with all we could have possibly required for our stay ! Everywhere was exceptionally clean and fresh and the cottage was situated in a picturesque area. The lovely touch of the fresh eggs and bread as well as a lovely variety of teas with biscuits was lovely. Would highly recommend this beautiful place and will mist definitely be returning for a peaceful break. Thank you, Lou.

Absolutely nothing!

Immediate communication. I messed them around with our arrival time due to international travel delays and they couldn't have been more accommodating! The place was soo beautiful, clean, immaculately and tastefully designed! The big bed (I'm 5ft 8 and had to climb in was unbelievable!) Fresh eggs, bread, butter and milk! Could not fault, and would recommend to anyone, and would stay again for pleasure as well as work!

Nothing we were completely happy.

The location of the property suited our needs, as we were at Oulton park race track for the weekend and it was a fantastic base for us, Only a 15 minute or so drive away. The cottage was like a home from home for us as it had everything we needed inside. Gorgeous comfy beds with lovely bed linen. Clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpful owners that accommodated us with our needs. Thank you Lou, Would love to stay again.

We liked it very much - nothing to complain about.

lovely peaceful location with excellent parking. Loved seeing the cattle in the adjoining field and the very rural location meant that we slept very well in extremely comfortable beds. Very efficient communication from Lou, our host and a welcome pack that was so nice and included freshly laid eggs that we enjoyed for breakfast. A very enjoyable, restful stay.
