Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI did struggle with the wifi: the code was hand written on a chalkboard inside the room, but some of the digits/letters were easily confusable (was the O a capital o or a zero? Or even a D??) - and I mistook a 6 for a b which was the actual problem - though staff did help me promptly when I checked it. When I did eventually get online the signal kept disappearing, so I wasn't able to read my emails. Not a massive problem as we were only there for one night, but I would have found it frustrating if I had been there longer, or needed to be in contact or do some work.
The room was lovely - calmly furnished and with a very comfortable bed. Because we were travelling with a dog, we liked that the accommodation is self-contained and didn't involve having to go through the pub to get to it. The location is splendid, right by the river, so nice to sit out and have something to eat and drink. N.B. kitchen closes at 7.45 - but being guests we did get a discount on our order. And Pershore itself is very pretty.

United KingdomThe pictures are better than the actual state of rooms well ours anyway room 3. Very worn. I booked a deluxe room with bath as we have no bath at home. Room 3 is far from deluxe, ok I get it it's a pub so perhaps don't advertise as deluxe. The bath I didn't use. I always give the bath a good clean but on this occasion it would of been a workout with the amount of scum unseen around the basin I didn't attempt. Luckily a shower also over the bath which I chose to use. The blue decor together with steep steps up to rooms carrying bags was too much too dark. The welcome light only comes on when you get to the top of the stairs ready to find room along the corridor. Had lots of problems with WiFi writing unclear on the chalk board in the room might have been better logging in on pubs WiFi. Not a major problem but could be to other people. Windows need replacing can be noisy with pub users when in the room and well worn. Need updating. Kettle filthy. Lampshade cracked. Expected a little more for deluxe.
Great for a one night stay in town centre, beer garden overlooking the river and pet friendly. All toiletries incase you forget are supplied together with tea and coffee. You do not have to go through the pub with bags to get to your room. Nice comfy bed.

United KingdomThe window overlooked the decking area of the pub, which on the Sunday night has smokers underneath. Consequently smoke drifted up to the bedroom.
It was comfortable and served it's purpose.

United KingdomA brighter wall colour would make the room more cheerful. The dark colours make.first impressions feel a bit down especially on the narrow corridors . Access staircase is not easy . Steep, and darkened by the deep blue paintwork, I am 80 and have a heart problem but am relatively fit. Not really a suitable hotel for disabled people. Access from the rooms to the bar at the Star Inn ( a separate business) is via more old stairs. Again narrow but well lit.
Everything about the room was very good . The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.. I was very pleased that the windows could be opened for ventilation . So many hotels have no fresh air . It was ideal for an overnight stay. The staff were very welcoming, cheerful and helpful.

United KingdomOur rooms were at the back of a pub so some noise at night for 1 room and the other room had a vent from the kitchen very close by so some noise/ cooking smells. One room had a small sofa in which caused some difficulty for bathroom access as the room was quite small. Only 1 bedside lamp in each room.
Clear check in instructions Very comfy bed and room had a good supply of tea/ coffee. Accommodation in a good location for local facilities.

United KingdomI couldn't see an easily accessible plug socket near the bed. It would have been good to have had more sockets but I worked around it. Would not suit someone with mobility issues as the stairs to the rooms are rather steep.
Lovely big carpark with a pub garden overlooking the river. We ate in the pup below for dinner and breakfast the food and staff were fabulous. With the key system to get into rooms it made it so simple to access and you didn't need to worry about what time you arrived

United Kingdom10 am check out is not ideal. The only thing stopping us from choosing this place in pershore will be that
We thought this property was really lovely. Great location and place to stay when visiting family locally. The room was cosy and clean, and exceeding our expectations. We loved how we could pick up the keys and return them without reception or socialising 🤣🤣

Loved that I didn't have to walk through a main reception area, quiet once main fans for pub were switched off, quality towels & bedding, bes was amazingly comfortable, plenty of space in the room for what I needed, accepted dogs at no extra charge (bonus)

United KingdomThe property was great. It’s not a property related issue, but when eating food in the pub attached to the room it wasn’t great listening to local customers talking about being banned from driving and bragging about how over the limit they were

United KingdomThe room was chosen because the accommodation had received an 8.5/10 fabulous rating on booking.com. I would beg to differ with this rating as my overall scoring shows. Room #2 was small and smelt musty. The tea making facilities were poorly paced with no real room to make a drink (the kettle was on a lower shelf and the tea/coffee was on a small upper shelf) Having struggled to make two cups of tea it was all to no avail as the milk pods were two months out of date. The bedside lamp didn't sit on the bedside table too well because of a very short flex connected to a power socket out of the way behind the bed. There were no other power sockets apart from the TV/Kettle on the other side of the room, so no charging your phones by your bedside. The toilet looked as though it had never been bleached. We didn't bother with the shower but opted to leave early the next morning.
Pershore is a nice place to visit, although its looking a little tired than when I was last here. The bed was comfortable.

United KingdomRoom was directly above kitchen so hot and a noisy extractor fan. Toilet seat was loose and there were hairs in the shower cubicle. The waste bin hadn't been emptied. However it was very cheap.
Great location. Pub had good facilities and parking. Riverside garden was a bonus. The food was very good. The room was quite spacious and well decorated.
