Entertainment was ver loud everything in the bedroom was vibrating and patrons were very vocal n loud when leaving venue

Location perfect for oil refinery workers. What you’re getting here is a good sized room above a typical pub on an estate. The beer is very well priced (Stella less than £4.30 (August 2023) and the locals are very friendly. Private back door so you can come and go 24/7. Large car park. Excellent value for money, VAT receipts provided if you need them. The shower was a large size, free dispensing liquid soaps, bedding, towels etc provided and changed when you want (just leave towels outside of door and new one’s appear). It isn’t the Ritz Carlton (nor does it claim to be, nor cost the same). It is essentially a ‘contractors’ hotel and does that very well in my experience. Good night sleep was had every night, never disturbed and happily use this place when back in the area.

The single bed mattress was very hard, the springs on the mattress were out of shape and was very uncomfortable to sleep in.

The constant noise. It was either people smoking right outside the fire exit which was just below my window. Or the music from the duke box, or the really loud disco which was from 8.30pm to 1am. There was absolutely no chance of sleep until the disco had finished. No breakfast. No food served whatsoever. I found out earlier that day that my dad is dying. Staying hear was in all honesty a complete nightmare for me. I was meant to stay for two nights, but had to find another hotel for my 2nd night. I really hope the hotel refund me the money for that 2nd night as they said. I'm not optmistic.

The only positive is that it's literally just round the corner from shops.

The top window didn't close all the way There was some mold in the shower There were hairs in the shower The only light that had a bulb in was the overhead Thumping music from the bar - but it did get turned off at 10pm No food available (but there is an Italian Restaurant nearby and a Lidl and Tesco - 2 min walk)

Pelham hotel ... well it was a cheap room for a couple of nights but what I didn't enjoy was the amount of drug dealing and drug usage in the hotel on the Saturday night in view of everyone. One bar girl was that far gone on drugs the full night that It was obvious from the moment we walked in along with taking drinks as she was worming, she then proceeded to drive away from the hotel at end of her shift to drop other staff home. 3 members of staff then came back to the hotel after hours called another resisdent to let them in and started taking drugs within the rooms. Wont be back and definately dont reccomend.

Bar was relatively cheap but that was about all.
