Everything was perfect! Delicious and plentiful breakfast. The room had everything we needed. Off road parking. The owners were really friendly. Location ideal for the centre of Pickering. Tea tray and cake were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very good experience here. Large spacious room, very clean. Good bathroom and facilities. Breakfast was one of the nicest meals that I have had in a long time. Hosts are friendly and informative.

Only slight negative was that the property is on the main road through Pickering which was very busy. Room had triple glazing and traffic noise was noticeable if you opened the window for fresh air

Me and my son stayed for 3 nights for a football tournament at flamingo land, we booked the pear tree as it looked fabulous in the pictures online and when we got here we wasn’t disappointed at all the room was super comfortable and really clean also really quite which was great for a good nights sleep after a long day, unfortunately we missed breakfast on two mornings of our stay so was really looking forward to it on our last morning and was not disappointed as it was a delicious full English breakfast. We will definitely look to stay here again if we are ever visiting that part of the country again

Our room had a separate toilet rather than ensuite but this wasn't an issue. It's a short walk into the centre of Pickering which would only be an issue if it rained

Everything about Pear Tree House was exceptional. Lovely comfortable room, lovely hosts, fabulous breakfast and the offer of cake was a nice touch. Good setting, on site parking and lovely to see the chickens, guinea pigs and dogs.

Lovely people couldn't be more welcoming. The hotel was clean and quiet and perfectly placed for a walk around pickering. Breakfast was lovely and the room facilities were great.

We cannot think of anything that could be improved.

The central location made it possible to walk to see the town. The parking arrangements prevented any concerns with security. The contact with the owners and even other guests was so friendly and helpful. The room and facilities were excellent and having stayed in a number of bed and breakfast places over the years this is the best by far. The cooked English breakfast and coffee were absolutely brilliant.

Nothing. We think it is the best band b that we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. We weren’t very well, so we’re pleased the room was so comfy and included a sofa. Sarah offered to do some washing for us, so we didn’t have to hunt around for a laundry.

Our only small gripe would be traffic noise, as our room was at the front, but this is a busy main road, and despite secondary glazing it was quite noticable, although it did quieten down the later it got.

Full plentiful english breakfast + toast and tea/coffee was very well presented and delicious. The cooler tray for orange and milk was a great idea. The location was ideal a nice leisurely stroll to the market town centre and NYMR station.

Great location was a short walk into town For pubs shops etc and the steam railway Sarah made us feel right at home straightaway and filled us in with all the local places to go Our room was perfect and so comfortable everything was so clean Good choice for breakfast We definitely would stay again

Absolutely no complaints.

This b&b was outstanding. It was spotless, cosy and the breakfast was amazing. The nicest porridge I’ve ever had and my husband said the cooked breakfast was simply delicious. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I 100% recommend Pear Tree House.

The only downside to my stay was that someone, probably another guest, tried to get in my room at 3am the first morning but that could hardly be blamed on the owners.

My room was a good size and very comfortable with a settee and dressing table. Breakfast was plentiful with good choices, good quality food and nicely cooked. The owners are lovely people, very helpful and friendly. Location was good, 15 mins walk to the town.

there was nothing we didn't like about this B&B the welcome was warm and friendly with a lovely smile the property exceeded our expectations the owners gave lots of local helpful information about the area and surrounding areas.

The breakfast was excellent, hot and very tasty delivered on time with a friendly smile. Our room was warm clean and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptional lovely rolltop bath plenty of hot water.

There is nothing we didn't like apart from we couldn't stay longer but we all have to work.

Breakfast was filling with plenty of choice, location is only a few minutes walk to the town centre, plenty of pubs and takeways to choose from.
