Amazing place to stay full of history and character set within its own private grounds. There is a large car park and it is a short walk into the town with good local shops and many excellent eating and drinking establishments. We were made to feel very welcome from the owners who were extremely helpful with their local knowledge. The public areas are nicely decorated and furnished in keeping with the character of the property. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious with a nice ensuite. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice on offer. There is also a guests bar and nice lounge area. We can't wait to visit again.

A small mix-up over housekeeping - our host was very apologetic and immediately rectified the situation. This was a very minor issue.

We chose Peak Weavers mainly for the location to fit in with our weekend plans. It was indeed ideal. The hosts were professional, efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, there was a large lounge/bar that we were invited to use if we wished. Breakfast was served in the spacious dining room with lots of choice and generous portions. Our cooked breakfasts were perfect! The bed was very comfortable and it was a quiet peaceful location, despite being only a very short walk to the town. Leek is a lovely bustling market town with a superb Sunday market on the first Sunday of the month - so I was lucky enough to visit it. It really promoted Leek's local small businesses and the prices were good. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his weekend art course in a very rural location - the purpose of our trip. Our meals out were all delicious. Our hosts were very helpful in suggesting suitable restaurants - and each one was ideal- and all within walking distance. There is a large parking area at Peak Weavers - excellent. We did most of our journey from "down South" by train and had a hire car from Derby so we could get around locally. This worked well. I did find the steep hills a bit challenging but it is the Peak District - and has the most stunning countryside.

Speaking as a handicapped person i did find ~Room 4 at the end of a series of stairs and corridors a bit difficult.

Very pleasant staff with lots of useful local information. The only difficulty is not of its making, namely, a mobile home parked right outside the steep driveway and the street itself is completely full of parked vehicles. No problem with parking in the Weavers paring area. The even helped with our luggage.

The room was cold when we arrived with no means to control the temperature of the room we thought. However, when the room had started to warm up we found a heater in the wardrobe! This knowledge would have been very useful when we arrived!

Location was excellent, very comfortable bed and the smoked salmon and avocado was excellent for breakfast.

The hotel is amazing, sitting on a very quiet street, only a few mins walk to the town center. Arounds by a few nice restaurants and shops. the staff is great, very friendly and sweet. I was there for a hiking, I have to leave before they start serving breakfast. when I told them the situation, they prepare me some breakfast in advance, that’s really kind and sweet. The breakfast is banging, love the full English breakfast, especially the bacon was so good. I’ve been told the sausage is good as well, as I only wanted a small breakfast, unfortunately, I missed that one. I had a very good staying in peak weavers hotel. if I ever go back to leek again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

the wifi was a little unreliable later on in the late evening. the room I was staying in you could hear when people walked up and down the stairs but that’s given as the building is old.

they were lovely and very helpful in guiding for walks around the Peak District. the breakfast was included and very good choices. many tea/ coffee and hot chocolate options in the room with the kettle. provided with a vanity kit including few cotton pads, q tips and a nail file which was a nice touch.
