Restaurant closes a bit early, ao get in there early for some great food.

The staff were outstanding here. Wife and I are often in hotels in various parts of the UK but these folks are probably the best trained staff we've encountered!

Despite being in the middle of nowhere, it's located on the actual main road, that it's quite busy as well. Also, with the huge car park at the front, it kind of loses the countryside vibe and it feels more like a motel as you approach it. The cows in the field at the back, saved it a bit, but there's only so much a field and some highlands cows can do 😅

The room was big with a nice big bathroom and everything you would expect to find, including iron and ironing board! ( it really is a bother when you have to phone it up!) A very nice touch was the local fresh milk in a little bottle in the fridge! Wonderful view over the little pond and the field with Highlands cows and calves!!😍 We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent, absolutely 5stars!!! Very large and good breakfast as well, with locally sourced products!

Whish we could have stayed more than a single night.

Beautiful room with airco and exceptional bathroom. Dinner was great and so was the breakfast. The upgrade we got helped a little, but I'm sure even the regular rooms are great.

Price of beer etc a little expensive. For just 2 drinks it cost £15.10

We were part of the wedding guests. Food was amazing. We have breakfast in our room. We received it at the time we requested. The breakfast was lovely (could of done with salt & pepper though). The room was beautiful and clean.

Idyllic location and centrally located within easy travelling distance of the places we wanted to visit. All the staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. Loved the room presentation, decor and facilities with a really comfortable bed and pillows. A good nights sleep helps make a holiday! The meals at the Red Lion Restaurant were beautifully cooked and presented and the catering team were friendly and attentative but without being intrusive. Both my partner and myself were really impressed and the accommodation and restaurant made our holiday a memorable one.

The bathroom was a bit gloomy, there didn't seem to be enough lighting.

Nice room with a pleasant outlook away from the road. The room was clean & comfortable. Dinner & breakfast were enjoyable - plenty of choice, well cooked, good timing.
