Love this place! We have stayed here once before in the summer. It was fab then and was just as fab this time. The attention to detail is fantastic. The owners have thought of everything. Breakfast is delicious and loads of it! And it is brought to your room by a lovely lady whose name I do not know. Great location too. Just outside of the high street.

Great room. Absolutely loved the attention to detail. We had sleepers, bathrobes, and toothbrushes provided. Plenty coffee and tea and chilled water, too. A wee chocolate bar beside bed was tasty, too. Breakfast was served to the room and was very delicious. Definitely would recommend Peacock Guest House. Thank you

Absolutely nothing.

Breakfast was outstanding. Lovely choices. Beautifully prepared and served. The food was delivered to our room on a trolley and the choices were wonderful. Very comfortable bed. I have health issues and need a comfortable bed and this bed was wonderful. Spotlessly clean and well presented. En-suite was small but adequate.

The only thing is that the bathroom is a little small But we both managed.

It’s clean and well decorated. You are very we’ll accommodate for with nice little touches like toiletries in the bath room and plenty of teas/coffee to choose from. The bed is really comfy and the room was warm and had everything you needed in it.

Fantastic breakfasts- vegan and veggie extremely well catered for. Beautifully cooked. Spotlessly clean room. Everything you could possibly need in terms of toiletries and little details. Lovely warm welcome from the host.

No negative issues

Warm welcome, room spotless and bed very comfortable. Mini fridge in room with complementary water, dressing gown, slippers and wash wash items provided. Great range of breakfast choices served to room. Overall had a great stop over and more than happy to grade this B&B as excellent.

Everything about the Peacock Guest house was exceptional. Nothing bad to report.

The room is absolutely stunning, exceptionally clean. Little extra's such as complimentary bottles of water and shortbread as well as the usual tea and coffee. The hosts were knowledgeable on the local area, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

Elaine and Jada were exceptional hosts, we can not thank them both enough for all there care and consideration. Its these personal touches that make Peacock Guest House exceptional, on top of the 5 star service, comfort, quality, facilities, location, cleaniness & breakfast (I am gluten free and diary free, and I was fully accomodated for for breakfast, it is actually one of the scrumptious breakfast options available!!). I would recommend this beautiful establishment to one and all.

As the room was only small there was not a lot of storage for clothes but this is the only problem really and i wouldnt even call it a problem more of a preference but great value for money.

The host (Elaine) was amazing, can't do enough for you. Breakfast choice amazing so much to choose from and good quality Facilities it has basically everything from and iron and hair dryer to cotton buds shower caps slippers eye mask for sleeping and even a sewing kit Location great

It's not that we didn't like it but after reading the reviews about the breakfasts we were expecting a better breakfast but I think that was due to the owners not being there and someone was looking after the place which is why I think the breakfast was not what we were expecting ,however that being said it was ok and the lady who was looking after us couldn't have done any more for us and was very attentive :)
