Room ambiance & no provision of electrical sockets, Cost being on higher side

Too compact but neat and clean with spacious bathroom. However, the checking was difficult being new person and not able to find the entrance as main doors were locked. probably a better guidance should help. also the rooms do not have electrical sockets, especially near table. Only sockets were near bed and had inconvenience in using kettle due to this.

Lack of pillows. Window in room needed 2 people to open it fully. Fire alarm very early in the morning - we stood outside for ages before fire brigade arrived. The people responsible for the alarm stayed in their room which seems a bit unfair.

The room was basic but adequate. 2 pillows per bed would have improved our comfort.

We booked for three rooms and our preference for rooms were to be close together.But when we arrived the hotel, we found that 3 rooms were in 3 different floors which was quite annoying.

Parking facility was good, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Firstly,no humans to be seen! Frustration at gaining access to front door…we were helped then over our stay we helped three sets of guests to gain entry. Should mention the steps to get to rooms….

I have to think about that, it was clean but old and nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. Secure parking…it was central once we figured out where we were

The fire alarm went off at 3:15 AM and the manager didn’t show up until 5 AM. Luckily the fire department was able to come shut it off.

I liked how close it was to town. Walking or taking the bus are great options to get into town. It was clean.

The property is in need of some updating; the bathroom door was very stiff - an older person might easily find themselves unable to open the door! We also hadn't appreciated that the property doesn't have an on-site reception (instead, you are sent a code for collecting your room key from a machine). The property is not very baby friendly - the hotel does not have a lift, and our room was located on the first floor. This was quite difficult for us as we had to carry our pram up and down stairs numerous times a day. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off at 1.20am one night during our stay. We waited outside for 40 minutes, only to be told (by firefighters) that it was a false alarm. No representative of the hotel has been in touch with us since, either to offer an apology or a partial refund. This is extremely poor.

The property is very well located. There is a lovely park just opposite the property and the property is a very short walk to good cafes, pubs and restaurants. Our room was clean, and well equipped with ample tea, coffee and milk, as well as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

Dirty, shower room blocked. Hot water takes ages to come, lots of water waste. Staff is none existent and the person who answers the phone has very poor English and not helpful whatsoever. Finding the room was a bit of a challenge as they have some odd numerical system. Some of the rooms are literally on the parking lot.

Location is great. Lots of shops and places to eat around. But nothing else.

We have never seen anyone at the reception. The hotel has selfcheck in and check out service and handing the keys, so if you have any troubles with any of those, probably, you will not get immediate support. All furniture in the room was quite old, it needs to be repaired here and there and cleaned properly. In general cleaning should be done better everywhere in the room. We had room on -1, so we heard very well everything what was going on above us and around: noice isolation almost doesn't exist. Also beaming light from the front yard projector was lighting right in our window and it was quite irritating. We closed curtains tight to make it less disturbing.

This guest house is located in nice area. It is not noisy or busy around, however there're few good restaurants and pubs in the neighborhood. Easy to get to the city center by foot or by public transport. Room was quite big. Kitchenette appliances were there for our use.

Bed was uncomfortable. No Wi-Fi in room 10. There was coffee in the kettle which took a while to wash out. No visible staff. I did briefly happen to see the manager in reception but was a chance encounter I think. I prefer the personal touch on check in and seeing staff .

We didn’t have breakfast. Didn’t realise it was an option? Room with a view was nice, top floor with views across the park. Close proximity to tram stop.

The luggage hold area is not secure. Anyone can come and take luggage. There should be a token system and one staff member should control this. We arrived early and we wanted to leave our luggage but we felt it was unsafe. Secondly, our next door people knocked on the door at 9pm very strongly not once but twice. That's very rude.

It was clean and tidy. I like the bed. The room is fully equipped.
