Noise isolation is not sufficient. Windows do not close enough to isolate the outside noise. You could hear police cars, traffic and nearby club, in case your sleep is light.

Good location, walking distance to all the main sights of Notttingham. Room was good and clean, nice bathroom, Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was good and generous

Parking directions were abysmal. Eventually had to park on other side of Maid Marian Way walk over to the hotel and the lovely man came out and showed where I was supposed to go. The turning was hidden in the scaffolding. Not that it helped much as gps still wanted me to go down the one way street. He told me to ignore that and look for the scaffolding. Got there in the end. Very stressed. It was peeing with rain which wasn't exactly helping and I don't know Nottingham hardly at all. Other than that no complaints at all.

Lovely hotel. Nice staff apart from. Lady on the phone when I phoned to ask how to get into the car park. Gps took me down a one way street head on into buses!. Didn't seem to understand I couldnt find the car park. Just kept telling me to push the buzzer and she would let me in. If only!

The hotel is near the castle - a good location for central Nottingham. The hotel offers all things you would expect from a business hotel. Outstanding, though, was the breakfast staff. One of the waiters (Jose), despite being really busy clearing tables, insisted he had nothing more important to do that fetch us fresh coffee.

- The hotel is on a very busy and noisy main road. This meant I heard loud loud exhaust pops/bangs in the night from speeding vehicles and motorbikes. There was also a lot of noise from ambulance sirens/sirens. Fortunately, I'm a seasoned traveller so I always take ear plugs with me. Once I had them in, it was fine. The hotel does have double glazing, but it's very old and doesn't work well in terms of soundproofing.

We had the breakfast included in our stay, and we both thought the continental was excellent! The hot option was lacking, my cousin said she would have liked black pudding. Oh and the scrambled egg was not good, in that it was hard :(

My cousin and I stayed in the twin room, which was clean, beds very comfortable, room a very good size, and the shower was pleasant. No complaints 😃 Good location too, and staff friendly. Have stayed before in 2021, and would come back. Good value for money, compared to other hotels in Nottingham

My stay was on a Friday night so it was quite loud in my room until about 4:30 am on this occasion, having said that I did sleep well.

Friendly helpful staff, plenty of breakfast choices. The use of Hotel Car Park. The layout of the room is easy to work in. Plenty of storage space if needed.

The hotel is in a very central, but busy part of the city with road/building works around and nearby. Taking this into account, I asked for a room in quiet part of the hotel as I'm a very light sleeper. The Receptionist gave me "a room on the corner" which he said would be suitable. However, the room I had was far from quiet as you could hear noise from the outside surroundings in the room. The 1st night wasn't too bad as I decided to watch TV to distract from the sound of music coming from a nearby venue (pub/club?) which was lowered just after 10pm The 2nd night however was a different story. The music was much louder and carried on until much later. Had I not got changed and into bed, I would have asked to change rooms. I realise that being in such central and busy location certainly has it's advantages, but for me the noise factor was a drawback and in future would look for somewhere in a less busy location.

The room was well organised re tea, coffee, and toiletries. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable with lovely crisp bedding. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Only one bedside table on a king size bed. The room was a little warm. No shower gel in the bathroom only soap.
