The main drawback was the room size. After depositing our luggage there was very little room to maneuver. There was minimal desk space and one chair to sit in; otherwise, we sat on the bed. These drawbacks were easily overlooked because of the positives and Margaret's welcoming manner.

Our host Margaret was very friendly and warm. The room was clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The internet was strong and fast. The location was great; an easy walk to the small downtown area and grocery/restaurants. The grounds of the house were very attractive. Plenty of outside seating if desired.

Warm welcome, well equipped room which was spotless. Walking distance to local shops and restaurants. Loved the garden 'dome', a lovely place to relax after a strenuous day (cycling from Cheltenham).

We really enjoyed our stay at Park Lane rooms, the room was decorated nicely, it was very clean, the bed was very comfy, the shower was AMAZING, it was a quiet location and Margaret was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here!

Margaret was really friendly and helpful to us. Room was spotlessly cleans and perfect for our stay. Forgot the straighteners and were loaned some which saved us. Thanks for a great stay. Would recommend.

There was nothing I didn't like. The only thing that occurred to me was that net curtains (or similar) on the window would have enabled the option of more natural light into the room while I was still in my pyjamas drinking my coffee and therefore not happy to draw back the curtains.

I really appreciated the welcome from Margaret and her flexibility regarding my stay given that I was attending an early afternoon wedding. I liked the location of the rooms, ten minutes' walk from the centre of the town, and near the park. I really liked the cleanliness of everything, the powerful shower and the comfortable bed. The coffee, biscuits and juice were much enjoyed. I'm sorry I didn't have the opportunity to sit in the pod in the garden!

Convenient location near town centre with several pubs and restaurants as well as a large supermarket. Also not too far from the Cambrian Way which I was walking along. Helpful and friendly owner living in main part of the house so always available for help if needed. Lovely complimentary chocolate and drinks offered.

Easy onsite parking and quiet situated near a park, just a 5 minute walk into town. Friendly and helpful host. Comfortable bed and overall beautifully designed room with modern finishings. Would definitely stay again!

Nice comfy bed, good quality fixtures and fittings, goodies in the little fridge (including a G&T). Very well thought out. There is a little box of crockery so you can have a takeout and sit in the heated igloo and eat it. Very convenient, brilliant for walkers as you access via a side gate into the garden, nice smooth path so you can take muddy boots off and walk in in your socks. Parking good, nice and quiet.

Margaret is a fantastic host who provides a warm welcome and a lovely little room in a fantastic location. We really felt right at home, and the extra touches and attention to detail were very much appreciated. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
