Great location lots of good restaurants, coffee shops, snack bars etc in the area. Easy to access. Plenty of space. Fabulous views out to sea. It was warm, clean and had everything that was needed for our one night stay. The host was easy to contact and replied promptly to any queries. We were four adults and two children, we had a very comfortable stay.

Excellent view, very spacious and clean. Central to all the shops, pubs, restaurants and just a short walk from the ferry terminal.

Our original party was 6 adults, but with two bedrooms and only one bathroom/loo to share this was a bit limiting, so we needed to find alternative accommodation for one couple. There were one or two maintenance issues, eg the floor lamp didn't work and the TV remote was missing. We let Iain know and fortunately these didn't detract from our stay.

This was a charming apartment with a great view of the main street and harbour, and very well located for our session at The View pub to watch some World Cup rugby! Host Iain was very responsive to our queries, and provided the info to get the keys from the lockbox in good time. The furnishings and fittings were all well used, but clean, serviceable and comfortable.

Location perfect, apartment not so good. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable, floor lamp not working, tv not working, fire not working although there were plug in heaters. Other people’s left over food and toiletries on shelves. Whole apartment needs a deep clean. The location and view are absolutely perfect, no one could complain about that and the host was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. I would actually book it again but this time I’ll know what to expect.

Since there are two rental flats, we did not know which key box or which flat was ours. Luckily we got it right. Some instructions would have been appreciated. We also could not figure out how to work the TV, but maybe our technical skills were to blame. When we were checking out, I noticed some hand written instructions in a pad on top of the fridge - maybe the answer was there.

A flat smack in the middle of central Oban with excellent views of the harbour and the islands, but also with a busy street outside, so prone to some noise. We were four people and got a bedroom each. Brand new sofa. Parking possible just a few streets away, paid during the day but free during night.

The sofa beds were ok, and brand new, but not as comfortable as the other beds.

The location on the harbour front was perfect, just 5 minutes from the railway station. We arrived as the sun was setting over the harbour, which was beautiful.

Extra bathroom would have been good but lack of one didn't spoil the visit. Found the door key into the flat difficult to use.

I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't 'like'. It was all pretty good. However, a couple of things need to be looked at. One of the sofa beds was a bit dodgy and probably needs to be replaced. It was not safe nor comfortable to sleep on . Luckily the other one was fine and we only had 6 people staying. The smoke alarm in the kitchen is never going to allow any sort of cooking without protesting loudly... So perhaps an extraction fan that works might help. Or moving the smoke alarm back a bit?

Location was wonderful. Flat was nicely set up. Instructions on how to find it and where to park were promptly provided remotely.

The door lock leading to the common stairs seems really flimsy and unless we made sure to properly fasten it it was sometimes just opening on its own.

Perfect location. Couldnt be more central and close to parking. Awesome view. Excellent comunication with the owner. Cot wasnt there when we arrived but after a message to the owner he sorted it out and we had someone come over after 20 minutes.
