Lack of comfortable seating in the bar area. Looks cosy but terrible design with upright back and seating cushions that tips you off! Shame because it looked expensive but was a looks and poor design

Whilst the evening meals were good a little more variety would have been appreciated.

As we were staying for a whole week we got an upgraded room which was excellent. The breakfast each day was good.

Surprised by the extra (unforeseen) charges. When I booked, the listing showed 'Breakfast Included'- however, this was for a basic continental. If you want a cooked breakfast you'll be charged extra (as shown on the breakfast menu). The overnight car parking charge in their own car park was £10. So my overnight stay was £20 more than I was expecting when I booked, realising only when checking out.

Nice decor, tastefully blending contemporary light textures with Victorian building. Bright and airy, with nice views across the bay. Staff were very welcoming in Reception and the Restaurant/Bar, relaxed and chatty which was pleasant. Comfortable room nicely sized with adequate room for bag and storing clothes. Good size, well-lit and appointed bathroom - 2 sinks! Good size car park - but you will have to pay a parking charge.

House keeping staff did not fully restock the room with the usual amenities. Had to call down to reception to get some tea, coffee, etc. supplies after discovering their absence.

Great location within easy walking distance to the harbor. On site parking (costs 10 GBP).

Assumed the cost for b&b would include a full English breakfast, however, this was en extra charge of £10 pp which we found disappointing, parking charges of £10 per night to park in the hotel carpark, not an extensive choice for the continental breakfast.

Hotel and room was lovely, amazing view out to the estuary from the room and the restaurant, really clean and tidy, fantastic location for us close to the town, really good evening meal, friendly reception & restaurant staff.

What a wonderful stay for 2 nights - I had to check in very late on first nite due to me attending hospital as a result of an accident I had - when my friend and I arrived they made sure we had a car parking space available as 2 single mature ladies- also upgraded us both to our own executive suites when we were booked in for 2 rooms with single beds- absolutely outstanding service with professional and caring staff. Breakfasts were amazing. Would highly recommend this establishment.

The room was very small for the money we paid. It was on the 3rd floor and had a harbour view, but we couldn't sit and look out at the view as the window was high up.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Harbour Hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, everyone from the receptionists, to the waiters in the restaurant to the maids cleaning the rooms - it really makes such a difference when all the staff want to provide a great service. The entire hotel felt clean and welcoming. There was a great selection for breakfast each morning, couldn’t fault it. If we ever visit Padstow again we’ll be staying at the Harbour Hotel for sure!
