Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were in London for a football match at Wembley. We landed the day of the match from the USA. I used to live in London so knew that Paddington would be our best station link between Heathrow and Wembley. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Paddington station and an 8-minute walk from the canal. It's an easy walk to nearby shops and Hyde Park. The room was a decent size by London standards and the price was fair. The staf was also very accommodating when we needed to check in early. I would definitely stay here again!

United KingdomVery small rooms- fine for a one night stay but it was very cramped. The bathroom was minuscule! There are SO many stairs especially if you have a room on the higher floors. I’m fairly fit but my glutes were burning by the 3rd floor! Our room had an extremely irritating beeping sound coming from the tv that we couldn’t turn off unless we turned the power off in the room. Aircon was sporadic, the room was quite warm and the windows didn’t fully open
Easy to find, close to tube stations. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we arrived earlier than the stated check in time. The room and stairwells were clean Bedding and towels were good quality (and decent size bath towels) and the assortment of toiletries and tea/coffee provided was good. Thoroughly enjoyed having a nespresso machine in the room!

Singaporeno elevator and my room was on 3rd floor. but the receptionist will help you bring up/down your luggage.
I checked in at 8 pm and had to ring the bell since the entrance door was locked. The receptionist came from the sister hotel (Westbourne Hyde Park) across and helped me check in & brought the luggage up to the 3rd floor.

The hotel was in a amazing location close to shops and Paddington station to arrive from the Heathrow express. The hotel is modern and clean. The room is quite small but that is to be expected in Central London. The shower had good water pressure and we had a balcony and the roomed lots of natural light. The hotel stored our luggage for us after we checked out which was really convenient.
