It should have been clear that there is no lift in the property and how many floors there are in the building. I could only just manage the climb with a suitcase.

Convenient for shops and tube. Quiet area.

The shower cubicle is very small, although typical for London hotels like this. I could hear some noice from above early in the morning (guess people leaving for an early flight).

Would have been a bit more convenient if there was a safe box in the apartment but the access to building and apartment unit is secure, so we had no issues leaving items in the apartment during the day.

Everything about our stay at Hyde Park Apartments was enjoyable. The location, the condition of the apartment, the regular cleaning and maintenance and finally the price. Would highly recommend this place for families and if you want to be in Central London.

The process get into the property was overly complicated. The TV didn’t face the bed.

There was no living room. This wasn’t really an apartment. More like 2 bedrooms with a very tiny kitchen attached. The electronic key locked my husband out half way through our stay. The staff helped with supplying keycards, but it took over an hour to get help.

Inaccurate listing - said there was a reception down the road for luggage storage, this was not the case. Contactless check in was not straight forward, we’re lucky that someone happened to be there at the time (there usually isn’t anyone on site). Listing also said there was a washing machine in room - not the case. There was a paid machine on site though.

Host was very responsive to messages. Apartment was spacious for London.

As others have said, the Bluetooth key setup was confusing and the instructions need to be more explicit. You need to check in well before you arrive at the place. Don't expect to do the online check on arrival at the place and then get in. It took 90 minutes for us to get the email for Bluetooth key after checking in which wasn't ideal at 1am in the morning after getting off a flight. Also you need to set up the key with the email from the booking - and if it's through booking.com it's some weird email generated from the site. Anyway got it working in the end. We were in the basement flat at the front - make sure you don't get that flat - right next to cleaning rooms and the bins. The smell of garbage was overwhelming a couple of nights.... The whole flat was tired and worn out and the bathroom miniscule.

The location was great. Close to Paddington Station, plenty of places to eat and reasonably quiet street.

Our apartment was basement level which we weren’t aware of, so a bit dark & gloomy. The fire door in the apartment had been nailed shut but was still on the fire escape plan. We informed the owner & were told it would be fixed. We were there 3 nights and nothing was done. Windows had bars so we only had one escape route had there been a fire.

Bathroom rather small, and could smell a little damp in there the following morning, but no windows in order to air.

The room was extremely clean, bigger than we expected, everything a family needs including the location to take in the sights of London.

Despite the fact I paid for the apartment ahead, they required 200 Ł deposit which they took from my credit card and announced it will be returned only after 5-7 working days! We were 3 adults. For the third person there was only sofa which is, in case you are taller than 160 cm, really short and one has to sleep cross-legged ;)

Easily accessible location with full facilities in the neighborhood. Close to the Kensington gardens and Hyde park. Apartment was clean and equipped with all things you might possibly need during your stay. We also used the opportunity to store our luggage after check-out for free in the reception (ca 15-20 minutes walk from the apartment).

The shower drain needs to be looked at. We stood in water that didn’t drain and nearly went over the side.
