My only concern was the steep stairs but this is highlighted in the description so anyone booking should know what they are booking.

Accommodation was suitable for our weekend away. We have fab weather so the outside space of the terrace was an added bonus for us to have a morning cuppa and snacks. It is so central to everything so an excellent spot to stay. The owners are very responsive with questions I asked too. It is a very quirky apartment and suited us well for our weekend away.

Car parking recommended was near to the accommodation, however, minimal 72 hour tariff £21 (no 24 hour option) - just mentioning so people budget for (would still recommend & stay again) Teaspoon would be handy for those wanting a brew

The bed was uncomfortable, can’t help thinking that it could be upgraded by the owners for a modest cost. There is a small “kitchen” area with a microwave and sink but no crockery or cutlery. Not really a problem if you use the nearby caterers.

Location was exceptional, within 50 metres of cafe, deli, pub and paper shop. Quirky two storey accommodation with usable spacious balcony area. Clean and tidy, toiletries and towels were fine. Charming, prompt communication was appreciated. Great price for a short break and dog friendly.

We loved everything! Beautiful location and beautiful property. A lovely little hideaway in Kirkby Lonsdale. We were even left out freshly ground coffee and tea for our arrival, which was a wonderful touch. Would love to come back.

Outhouse Bothy is as described very quaint, a lot of thought has gone into making the most of the space. It’s in the centre of Kirby so perfect for bars and restaurants. We did have slight hiccup on arriving but this was quickly sorted very much to our satisfaction and we have booked again for later in year when we hope to enjoy sitting on the terrace ☀️ our only suggestion would be a small tv

Front door needs attention it's an internal door not an external door, it sticks . NO light for keypad for the key. Whitewash walls on the stairs which when going down the Very old stairs gets on your jacket! And damp on the ceiling boards and lights on the shelf have never been wiped clean full of DNA . Said chocs on arrival none, but 2 cans of beer.. I suggest 1 can and one small 🍷. Cost over £20 for parking,couldn't pay for 24 hrs so had to keep going back to top up. Outrageous.

Nothing, there was nothing not to like

Such attention to detail I loved the quirky vibe of this place immediately, it’s a fabulous hideaway in the heart of Kirby Lonsdale close to all the amenities. Will defo be booking again. The hosts kept in touch and answered all questions promptly was a shame we were only staying 1 night.

Very quirky and quiet considering it was so central. Lovely soft towels, nice balcony area and lots of thoughtful touches by the hosts. We love Kirkby Lonsdale and it was very close to the Royal Barn Brewery and Tap House. We were provided with 2 free beers, freshly ground coffee, milk, teabags etc. Would recommend and return if in the area again.
