Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWould be even better if there was an option to have some form of self serve breakfast (fruit / cereal / toast. etc) earlier than 7:30 as I needed to leave at 7. Full English offered from 7:30 though so I’m sure would be fine for most guests.
Perfect location for working at Aintree. Warm comfortable clean rooms with solid Wi-Fi and parking. Tea tray in room, plugs near bed, bedside lamp, complimentary toiletries. Shops, restaurants and takeaways in walking distance, ASDA very close. Exactly what I needed.

Really good hotel overall. Excellent breakfast, friendly welcoming host. Main issue was shower head needed a good clean, was quite moldy. Bed was a little worn, slept okay on it but felt a bit firm and like was in need of replacement. Good sized room with smart TV, tea and coffee, biscuits on arrival. There is a bar but we were unable to use it due to a private party booked out in it

Rooms were spotlessly clean as was the hotel throughout, staff were pleasant and accommodating and helpful. Nice bar in the dining room, with a comfortable lounge to relax in off to the side, A good sized cooked breakfast in the morning with cereal fruit juices fresh fruit and yoghurt tea and coffee to keep you going till your cooked breakfast arrives

United KingdomWe had a bedroom at the front of the Hotel with no voiles/nets at the window - so if curtains are open you're in full view of everyone walking or driving past? So the curtains had to be closed with light on! The bathroom door handle and hinges creaked and needed WD40 - noisy in the night! The WC cistern was constantly dripping and could be heard when room in silence. The boxing for the sink pipes was off the wall & needed re-attaching/sealing. The Shower had very low pressure and struggled for water to get past tepid.
Very friendly & helpful staff, very nice breakfast, good location & parking, clean and tidy, very nicely furnished & decorated.
