It was a tiny bit too hot in the room. It is difficult for any hotel in Scotland to get this right though, especially with the way the weather's been recently.

The views were superb. Staff were lovely and made some great tasting cocktails.

The best room ever... Everything I needed, comfortable and practical. But most of all: The calm sound of the waves below the window and the trains running over the most beautiful bridge ever as a backdrop as seen from my open balcony door was simply uncomporable... ! (Note: Terrace right below the balcony, when used, would have spoiled all that but that is only open in the weekend and I was there on a weekday!)

Lovely spacious room with fantastic view of the three bridges and the river. Great selection in the minibar at very reasonable prices. We didn’t have breakfast but enjoyed a light lunch in the bar which was lovely and, again, reasonably priced

Was a little noisy outside.. thin glass maybe.. it wasn’t an issue though.. I could still get to sleep..

We had one issue with the room but the staff could not have been more helpful, they took steps to resolve the issue and we were completely satisfied with their approach and attitude, they were all exemplary. Problems occur in hotels but it’s the manner in which they are dealt with that determines the quality and on that score I say 10/10

The location of the hotel is superb and we found parking immediately opposite the venue, this was metered parking until 17:30 so a couple of top-ups were needed but because everything was so central it did not create a problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone

These days, most hotels provide free drinking water. It would be nice if Orocco Pier hotel also sets the free drinking water bottles in the room.

The room is comfortable with excellent bathroom. Location is very good, in the middle of small old town with amazing view on the bridge. The hotel manager kindly arranged for us to enjoy dinner at a lovely window seat with a view of the bridge. The restaurant has really good food and service.

If they could improve the ventilation, it would help. Our room was on the top floor (the former attic) so it got warm. The outside temperature was cool, but we could only open the windows on one side so there was no cross ventilation. The kitchen vent was right outside our window so leaving the windows open all night wasn't an option. A fan would have helped a lot.

Room was a good size with a great view of the Firth of Fourth bridges. It was relatively quiet. The room was clean and neat.

Wi-Fi was ok, but VPN restricted access to some steaming apps on our iPad - so could only really watch Netflix, but not Disney+ or Prime. Not a big deal really, didn’t effect our stay

The above comment We were placed right in the middle of people sitting having drinks, just felt a little uncomfortable their were others not booked that got better seated areas The toilet wasn't 100% clean there were evidence of poo in the inside of the toilet

Parking is free but consists of public lots blocks from the hotel. Definitely go left at the stop light and use the lot near there; if you go right onto the one way section in front of the hotel, the lot is far and it's like 5 miles driving back to the hotel. There are no elevators.

The "Executive" room lived up to its name. The staff was super helpful. The restaurant has good food and views. We had an early departure for the airport and they were up earlier than us; they said farewell with some complementary glasses of orange juice.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare… and the round trip to get back to it took about 15 minutes!

Noisy late parting with a wedding downstairs. Guests came to rooms in the middle of the night still laughing and parting. Couldn’t sleep at all. Hard to park and unload luggage on street. Tight.

Nice views, good shower, mini fridge. Restaurant was superb.

The only things I would give as feedback were one of the rooms was not made up after the first night, cups not cleaned no toilet roll, this was sorted quickly which was good though. We stayed in the room with the balcony which was lovely however maybe something to consider there was not a lot of room to come in and out of the balcony door
