Broken net curtain in the room hanging down by 3 broken hooks No parking so had to drop off stuff and park a fair walk away

Great location for the town. Bedroom decor was lovely Food was great Staff were helpful and friendly Great room for having a dog with you with you and access to town green areas.

Hard to find in the dark as no lit up sign outside. Also only left enough towels for 1 person despite 2 people in the room. We didn’t have time to call down for extras. On street parking overnight but have to move to the car park around the corner during the day.

Lovely quaint little hotel in fabulous surroundings. Hotel is oldy worldly and has a cracking little pub attached. There is a fabulous courtyard but unfortunately went there long enough to use it. Breakfast is very good too. Staff also very friendly and accommodating.

Bit chaotic on Friday night staff seemed a bit disorganised and disunited front bar dominated by locals and their dogs Plastic covered smoking area which you walk through to garden and some rooms It was a hot night and our room was at the top of the building so very hot but a fan was provided

There was nothing not to like- 1st real days of summer to patio area not quite up to the standard that I am sure it will be in the next week or so.

Had the full English breakfast but didn’t like the sausages. The salmon didn’t taste fresh as well. Hope they can do better on that. The phone in the room doesn’t seem to be working and the reception area is usually vacant so had to wait for someone to talk to us. Other than that, the staff when we meet them are all very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a family room - room was big but the double bed seems smaller than our double bed at home. Location is along the high street and near a Coop so very accessible. They also have a nice garden at the back you can enjoy during summer. Breakfast was included. I liked that they have cereals, spreads, juices and coffee available so we don’t need the staff for these when we need them.

Only had de-caff coffee sachets in room and unfortunately the coffee in the breakfast room wasn’t very nice. The room didn’t have a bath, we didn’t specify one so not the hotels fault, but a bit disappointed.

Comfy bed, clean facilities, lovely breakfast. Hotel in a great location in the middle of the town. Good communication from booking to arrival.

If I am to be a bit picky the location of our room in the garden could have been a little more private. Luckily it wasn't good weather, and people were not sitting out but had it been it wouldn't. If open to suggestions a screen by the flower boxes would help enormously. Or one way window film would be better than net curtains.

Very welcoming staff throughout our stay and happy to help, A special mention to Paf who was a delight and a credit to the Ormond. Food was excellent at dinner and breakfast.
