Breakfast sounded really good, but in fact .- considering the price - was quite poor. Toast /butter not served separate, generally small portions and not nicely cooked, extra coffee not offered... etc. Shame as the room and quietness was good.

The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. I arrived late due to work and the kitchen was closed but was offered a freshly made sandwich of my choice which was very good of them, I was also leaving early, before breakfast started but was also offered a pot of porridge and toast before original opening times. The room was spotless and very comfortable and good water pressure in the shower with a lovely coffee machine and good condiments. Had the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages and wish I had arrived earlier to try the award winning pies in the restaurant. Great beers and cider on tap if I was local it would be my go to and if I’m ever in the area again it would be a no brainer on where I’d like to stay, highly recommend!

They had run out of some of the key menu options by 7.30 on the night I was staying for a meal - which was disappointing

Very friendly , good atmosphere in the pub, a good range of local beers . The member of staff who checked me in took the time to explain the emergency exits and procedures'- not had that for a long time .

Cosy, comfortable rooms. Hotel is dog- friendly and food is fab. The pub/ restaurant is very popular so be prepared for it to be busy but the staff are super-efficient and you won’t have to wait long to be served.

The TV was little small on the size, didn't know how to open the window 😔 didn't book the table for dinner on the first night, have to sit in one of the quieter room.

The room was very clean and it has modern design, it has coffee capsules machine and normal instant coffee. Iron and hair dryer. The location is great for people who want to travel to malham cove or skipton town. Love their seasonal scallops and short ribs beef, amazing.

Room was really cold when we arrived, (8pm ish), took hours to warm up.

Comfortable bed, good breakfast. Hardly heard the noise of the pub, didn't bother us at all. Decorated lovely, really smart.

The room was lovely and the staff very friendly. We enjoyed a drink in the pub and the breakfast was very nice. The beer garden is amazing. Great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

I have to have an early start and breakfast not until 0800 so bear this in mind but in fairness my fault that not the Swans also not keen on unattended properties having stayed in one for 6 months once in the past it can be a little uncomfortable for some.

A comfy bed, staff are excellent could not do enough for you, it was clean, plenty of amenities in the room, the food was excellent and great prices definately value for money.

The breakfast was poor. We both had a cooked breakfast my husband had veggie sausage which were over cooked they were solid mine wasn't much better

The old swan was welcoming the staff were great the evening meal was delicious it's a busy pub there is parking but it's limited few yards down the road is another car park which you have to pay for

the weather!!!!!

Building has obviously been updated recently and the result is great. from the outside you have a lovely traditional old public house, inside it is immaculate, clean.and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
