It could have been cleaned to a better standard. Thick dust on the mirror and an old hot water bottle next to the bed.

The suite was ground floor and we did experience noise from passers by late at night, obviously no fault of the hotel.

Great central location. We were in a suite so this was separate to the main hotel and situated across the street. As we arrived late and had to leave early we didn’t have time to use the Spa which was a shame. The suite itself was a good size and warm and comfortable. In my opinion it needed a good deep clean as was quite dusty. Massive bathroom which seemed a waste of space, a large free standing bath in there would be a good idea!

It is on a main road and you can hear quite a bit of street traffic. There is a green nightlight mounted on the ceiling and I had a hard time sleeping with it shining. The pillows were horrible.

It is very attractive and the room and bathroom were both large. Great location.

bed was two singles pushed together which was a total pain. the mattresses were VERY soft so it was difficult to move about on the bed without feeling like you were on a water bed.

Didn’t realise was not part of main building so had to go out in the cold after using spa facilities. shower not working in spa facilities ☹️ would be good to have water fountain in the spa. There was a big stain on the cover of bed, didn’t look nice.

The week before I stayed at Kinnettles on the top floor in the Old Concourse room. The person who booked the room was unhappy since they requested separate beds, which weren't set up. There was also a complaint about the cleanliness of the bathroom. When I checked in for my reservation, I was happy to receive a room across the street which was set up properly, clean, and comfortable. I expected to have similar issues as the week prior but had none. There was no way they would have known it was me who was returning since my friend has booked his room separately.

Restaurant was closed so the hotel asked us where we would like to eat and said they would make a reservation however when arrived at restaurant there was no reservation made and we couldn't eat there as they were full. I'm the morning for breakfast we were also refunded the cost as it was a complete shambles, about 15 people waiting for one coffee machine as it was buffet so after 20 miins waiting we went out for breakfast, wasn't the best start to our weekend

room was on the top floor and had low ceilings which made it difficult to walk about. Breakfast now buffet style, much prefer table service as experienced on our previous stay. Reception often unmanned making it difficult to check in and out

My only gripe would be the street noise till around 1 am and then the seagulls at 6 am but to be fair it's to be expected in a busy Student/ Seaside Town, Maybe Tripple Glazing would sort that on Front Facing Rooms.

On Arrival in St Andrews, we were lucky to get a free parking space 100yards away in the local Car Park, if not it could've meant a bit of a walk after dropping our bags off as the town was very busy. however, we were okay. On arrival at the hotel, The reception staff was lovely and very helpful in taking us to our room. We then received a complimentary drink each and not just the cheap stuff, A Cocktail and Perroni for me. This was a very nice touch for me as we then ended up just sitting in the lovely Bar area at the window just watching the world go by and had another three drinks, unfortunately not on the house but the prices were in line with local bars so all good. Our room was lovely with all the expected facilities. King bed, Iron, TV, Hair Dryer for the missus, and a good stocked mini bar, and nice and clean too. Breakfast was a buffet, again with everything you would expect. When we arrived for breakfast it was nearly 10:30 am but the staff was brilliant, they even went and put on more Bacon and served us at our table rather than some hotel's saying, sorry you're too late. So excellent service from the Staff and Thank you
