Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very clean, well equipped kitchen, bathroom was fine shower was hot, spacious, good location for us. Everything we needed & would stay again. Key was simple to retrieve.

United KingdomThe carpet throughout the apartment initially did not look dirty. But walking on it throughout the day. Makes under your feet really dirty. I think it needs to be changed. When we first entered the apartment, the smell was not very welcoming.
The location is in the ideal spot. Every attraction is only a few minutes away.

PolandWiFi password printed on a sheet in the apartment was incorrect, as well as another one sent via email. Despite asking for a correct password during our stay we didn't receive it, so eventually we spent our time in the apartment without access to its WiFi until leaving.

NetherlandsVery complicated doorlock which we could not understand. Electronic showers are unknown on the continent. Flat on ground floor, unsafe to open windows, so hot and stuffy Owner does not seem to react to messages, only sends standard Booking texts. Disappointing!

United KingdomThe skirting was grubby and marks on the walls in the bathroom. Lack of hot water from the bathroom and kitchen taps, however we did advise we would be ok. Black out curtains would be good and something to cover the front door to stop light coming in to lounge in morning.

Good facilities, tea coffee etc. Aldi nearby. Clean and tidy. 10 / 15 mins walk to the centre. Safe cheap local parking in Western Approach car park.

BelgiumThe apartment smells terrible like mould and damp. We still smell it on our clothes after two nights there. I reported the smell to the host after our first night and they said they would look into it tomorrow (after we would be finished with our stay). The neighborhood is dodgy and loud.

United KingdomAttention to detail with cleaning. Sound proof windows as there are 3 pubs within 100M of the property and you can hear everything outside. The bathroom: * toilet is loose, * toile roll holder needs replacing, * toilet brush needs replacing, * tap needs repai before major damage occurs.
Inside looked great, had WiFi and was easy to find.
