We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe property was lovely but needed some TLC - very basic items in kitchen, cups too small to make a nice coffee, nice big mugs would help. Seemed lacking in character or neglected . Wires hanging of reclining sofas with no plug, shutters on kitchen cupboards broken. Dining table needs fixed as felt it was very wobbly and legs needed tightened. No light bulb in storage room. No hot water when we arrived back from our cold water swim but sorted when we rang owner. Only one large towel in one of the en-suite with two sharing. Need to look at double bed in room 2. Need new batteries in one of the fire alarms as it started peeping as we were going to bed and peeped all night and we couldn’t reset it as it was high up in the hall ceiling, so not the best of a good nights sleep for some of the guests. We all felt that the owner should stay in apartment for a few nights to see what needs updated and fixed.
The area and view was amazing 🤩 perfect 😍 apartment very spacious but need lots TLC.

We couldn’t believe how bad it was food in the sink, half a pot of coffee sitting, butter in fridge empty toilet rolls, poo over the main downstairs bathroom, dirty towel in back bedroom and floors were full of sand. The work tops pure greasy I mean the location was fabulous and yes it was an amazing apartment if it had been clean I didn’t want to make a fuss as I was with my family but we went away for a break and we couldn’t believe how the apt was given to us We paid good money and we were not expecting to be as dirty. The cleaners should be sacked or given a warning. I was very very disappointed and i didn’t know who to contact. i spoke to a member of staff in the restaurant and she told me the manager would call me and I’m still waiting.

United KingdomNot properly cleaned- red wine stain on living room tiles, cup with cigarette butts found on balcony, wet towels still in the drier on arrival (did not arrive earlier than the advised check in time). Towels left out on the beds were still damp, some had stains. Used shower gel bottle lying in the shower. Insufficient dishes, normal drinks glasses etc to accommodate 6 guests. Pots and pans with loose handles, no oven gloves. Plastic cutlery. Broken extractor fan. Fridge had left over/old food from previous guests. Living room only had sofa/couches to accommodate 5 people. A number of door don’t close properly, creaked and banged unless you locked them. Jets in the bath don’t seem to work. One set of keys had to be shared between 6 adults to access the apartment. Staff at the bistro were unaware they provided keys at check-in. Were told they didn’t have any apartment keys and we were mistaken. had to ask if a manager was about and if we could speak to them. Was told they wouldn’t know about keys either. Beds were creaky, bedding was nice to look at but not good quality. 2 of our family left after the first night as they had poor quality sleep and felt unable to stay for a second night. Ruined the trip away. From start to finish not a good experience.

United KingdomCouldn't get a shower in 1 of the apartment's due to the shower water leaking through the ceiling, saying that once we made the restaurant 55 degrees who deal with the apartment's aware of the issue they had a plumber out and the issue of the shower and the tap of the sink that fell off fixed straight away, luckily we had both apartment's the family that was staying in the apartment with the problem they were able to get a shower in our apartment. I have to say due to the issue with the problems of the broken sink tap and leaking shower we were given a free breakfast in the restaurant the next day free off charge due to the issue, and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding and lovely. I wouldn't let the issue we had stay at the apartment stop our family from staying again, absolutely home from home with outstanding view's and location in centre of Portrush.

CanadaThe furniture was sparse and uncomfortable (the cord for the reclining chair was cut off). When asked, they came back to turn on the heat (but there still wasn't any heat in the one bedroom). The place needs a good cleaning. One of the windows was off its hinge.
The view was spectacular and the location was fantastic. There was an enormous amount of space.

No fire blanket in kitchen no fire extinguisher anywhere in apartment.Felt couldn't have a shower as they were so dirty it was disgusting . The curtains in the bedrooms were hanging off. Very disappointed as it was our anniversary and we had brought friends with us. We have stayed in a lot of places but this has to be the more dirtiest apartment ever. There are hostels cleaner then this so called penthouse.

United KingdomThe apartment needs a full deep clean and there are so many broken items throughout- broken tiles in the kitchen and living room floors, broken hinge on kitchen cupboard doors, broken sliding doors onto balcony, broken blinds/curtains on windows.. some windows won’t open.. the list goes on.. I had to clean for over an hour when I arrived. I complained to manager in the bistro and he sent up a member of staff to clean but I had already started it so finished myself. really it needs a full deep clean. The towels all had an underlying smell of something, the tea towels stank and I couldn’t use them. Most of the kitchen cupboards are empty, Struggled to find enough bowls/glasses etc. had to go out and buy clean scouring pads and washing up liquid. Bathroom had other guests hair on floor and empty complimentary shower gels lying in shower. Cupboard under the sink in kitchen has empty packs of laundry powder and used blue roll lying in the cupboard. It wasn’t difficult to put these in the bin. Especially with the extra cleanliness required due to covid there’s no excuse for an apartment costing £990 for 3 nights should be in this state. Tumble drier can’t be used - loads of sand in it Wifi didn’t work. Staff in bistro couldn’t help. I emailed manager via booking.com and they sent someone the next evening to fix it Definitely won’t return here. Such a pity as it’s huge potential, was glad to go home

United KingdomThe manager who greeted us was completely disinterested, not friendly at all, we ate in the restaurant 2 nights & not once where we greeted in a friendly manner or asked how our stay was, he showed us to a table, threw menus on it & walked off....the apartment was not clean, black mould in showers, cobwebs all over entrance hall....the slide windows were broken, one door was very dangerous, my brother who is a glazer couldn't believe it, the glass pane could have very easily fallen out if forced open, another window was completely broken, a tile on the floor was cracked! Then at 8.30am my kids were woken up & very upset at a very loud fire alarm going off! They thought there was a fire in the building! I phoned the restaurant below to be told it was a fire security firm testing their alarms & they didnt know we were in the apartment above! What an absolute disgrace! Imagine there had been a fire or emergency & they didnt know there was guests in the apartment above! Not impressed at all, £458 for a 2 night stay! The views are absolutely stunning but they seriously need to put some work into it & have a strong word to their manager!
