Creaky floors in annex meant we woke at 5am when our upstairs neighbour got up (maybe request an upstairs room) Bear in mind even an en-suite annex room is in a hostel and amenities are basic - take all your own toiletries eg soap for shower and bear in mind you’ll need to go to the shared kitchen to make your morning tea - that said, for the price and location we were very happy with our choice

Was a little cold in room and towels ought to be provided in double toom cost as not cheap despite Youth Hostel. Generally though was really pleasant surprised at standard and would not hesitate to re book same room.

The cooker was a bit tricky to light the first time.

Friendly, helpful staff. Two comfortable lounges with views out to the sea, Spacious bedroom, didn't get stuffy when we had to shut the windows due to the weather. A well equipped kitchen and a handy water heater always on with boiling water for tea. The free bathroom towel on arrival.

You don’t know with whom you will sleep, and they might snore like a beast, but that is how it is in shared accommodations!! Great place overall

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Laundry facilities were very welcome. Common areas were very clean and comfortable. Room was a good size, and the shower was excellent.

An earlier check in time would have been nice. Checked in at 3pm. Didn't realize that we could have used all the communal areas earlier as the main door was closed until 4 pm. Took some time to realise that access was via the back entrance which wasn't immediately obvious.

We are on reflection really happy with the experience as a whole. It is in a great location and very clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. Great vegan breakfast and the staff were very helpful.

Rooms are ok but a bit oldish, I found common places (like the kitchen) not very clean but is also because the guests who don't clean after use

It was fine, shower had a bit of mould but really nothing to complain about at all.

Fabulous location. Husband and I stayed in an en-suite room in the annex. Great sea view and good walk into town about 10 minutes. Great value, there is a kitchen so you can make tea etc. all good.

the showers are odd, either the water pressure is manageable but cold or it is warm but extremely powerful like a bit painful! i took it as a free massage 😅

the location is superb, the views amazing, dorm room was big and airy, it is clean, the kitchen has everything, the staff were super friendly and helpful, there's two comfortable lounges i was able to do some work from

No bed side socket to charge your phones etc The wash basin in the room was partially clogged.
