No warning on Booking.com that the apartment is next to an active building site. Got blocked in by a delivery lorry. Difficult to access key safe due to its location.

We were a group go 5, and there were only 4 chairs round the table! Maybe a fold away chair could have been provided. Again all the other house items, glasses, cups plates etc, good for 4 but a stretch for 5.

Really good location for what we wanted, and for anyone looking to explore the area. Two good pubs a short walk away, we were only there for one night so didn't get chance to see much more.

The bed in the little bedroom has a low frame and I really hurt my knee as I didn't see the frame

Lovely little house on one level, really lovely touch like the towels and shampoos, quite area but close enough to towns for food, definitely will stay again :)

The front door, the handle doesn't work on the outside. We were locked out. Apparently, it's common for new builds. Be aware that if you don't take the key with you to unload your car, etc , you can't get back in.

Very comfortable, especially the bed. Probably the most comfortable bed we've stayed in. Walks on the doorstep, Chinley Churn being a favourite .

Lockbox was difficult to open, took 3 of us and multiple attempts to open. Ended up having to slide a library card into the lock box as i believe the lockbox was to small for the keys inside.

Size of the home, location and cleanliness was all very good. Communication with owner was excellent!

No getting away from it being on a building site, with construction on both sides, though the construction workers were considerate. Kitchen could do with a few more bits and bobs to make it set up for more than the most basic of cooking.

Great location for exploring the Peak District. We travelled by train and the location and facilities locally made this a great place to stay for us. New apartment with everything clean and working well.

The property was very clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had requested a cot too which was already put up for us and bedding was provided. On one of the coldest nights of the year the house was lovely and warm. No complaints!

Lockbox is very low down to the ground which was a bit tricky and would be very difficult for anyone with limited mobility. 5pm arrival time means it's dark in winter so a door number would be a useful addition to help locate the property as even with the google maps pin supplied we didn't find it first time. The apartment is on a newbuild estate where construction work is ongoing very close to the property, which means building work starts early in the morning on weekdays- obviously this won't be for ever but it might be worth checking if it's likely to bother you.

Apartment was spotless and well equipped. Nice and warm, with really comfy beds. Lovely pub with great food within walking distance. Very peaceful at night.

Very hard to find the property initially as not yet on Sat Nav. Property is in a new housing estate so nothing to recommend the immediate location, but you go there to travel the Peak District, not the village! It was perhaps a little expensive, but then again every accommodation in the Peak District is expensive!

Lovely flat, nice and warm when we arrived, some good pubs nearby. Easy to find key, flat was excellently appointed, had everything we needed. Would stay there again.

It was difficult to find, it took us a while and a call to the owner. It is on an estate that is still being built so your maps app or sat nav may have difficulty finding it. Just find Blackbrook Drive and stay on it until you see a bridge to your left, cross it and turn right, keep going until you get to another bridge and don't cross it. The apartment is to your left, the only door on the gable end of the building.

Spotlessly clean and well appointed. It all feels very new. There is everything you need for a short or long stay. Roomy enough for a family or two couples. Good kitchen and coffee and tea facilities and a useful local information brochure.

Really nice apartment, very clean and new and had everything needed for our stay, location is great, parking outside, access to lots of footpaths for walks from the apartment. Great communication with host. Shops and takeaways nearby. highly recommended.

Every thing was great! The property suited our needs perfectly. Brand new build so everything is sparkling clean and easy to keep like this.

Being a self catering property, it is entirely up to the visitors as to how good the breakfast is. Porridge for me, so yum

Stayed for a mini break. The apartment is lovely and clean. The small village of Chinley is beautiful with all amenities nearby. Hope to stay again.
