We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We stayed in Ash room which also benefited from a quaint conservatory and balcony overlooking the well maintained garden with seating there also, from where to take in the amazing views! Breakfast was served promptly and tasted good accompanied by a friendly service. Wish we'd have stayed for longer!

This was a gem of a stay! I booked it at the very last minute and, after further research, I was extremely lucky to get in, as it was just about fully booked for the rest of the year! Absolutely beautiful room - immaculately clean - with lots of little extra touches to make it even more welcoming. The host was lovely - very helpful, accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was plentiful and varied with fresh fruit cocktail, fresh orange juice, a selection of creamy yoghurts, a full English breakfast and as much toast and jam/marmalade as we could eat. It was all presented and cooked to perfection! The surroundings were beautiful and tranquil. We sat outside on the patio in the garden at the rear of the property and had a snack, while surveying the wonderful North Yorkshire countryside. A wonderful weekend!

United KingdomAbsolutely gorgeous little B&B in a stunning location. The attention to detail and the decor of the rooms was amazing and the whole place was absolutely spotless. This was the last stop on a 9 day trip with my boyfriend and Oaklodge unexpectedly became one of our favourite stops of the trip. Lynne was one of the friendliest and kindest hosts we have experienced and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us enjoy our stay even for just one night. Breakfast was also absolutely lovely. A bonus were all the great pubs and places to eat nearby (we had fantastic pizzas at The Three Horseshoes in Wensley). Wish we could have stayed longer!

United KingdomPerhpas our fault for not asking but it was a little unclear when, for instance, the towel rail would be operative together with the room heating. Despite the time of year there were some cold winds blowing about! The consevatory had its own heating which was handy and essential. Note to self - ask!
Just off the main road in what is a very quiet location with beautiful views over the Dales either from the garden or from the small conservatory that was a part of our room. Engaging and helpful hosts. Leyburn is a lovely place to base yourself, shame the heritage railway was not operating from the nearby station. And the local pubs all featured beers from the excellent local Wensleydale brewery.
