We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Fab location for walking in and about Cheltenham town, lots to see and do, Cheltenham lido is a stones throw away and many close, good restaurants. Sue and Patrick, our hosts, served a great selection for breakfast. Tea/coffee facilities in room.

Breakfast was perfect. My husband is a full English breakfast kind of person and he really enjoyed it all, but added that the sausage was exceptional tasting! I had porridge which was perfectly creamy and hot (honey was available to drizzle over it so that made my day! I also opted for the fruit (which was wonderfully fresh) with yoghurt. The room was comfortable and a perfect size, it had everything we needed!

The owners were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Great location for bars and restaurants in Cheltenham. We stayed for a wedding and it was very central for meeting up with other guests. Very comfy beds and beautiful bathroom facilities. The owners were also very knowledgeable about local events and recommendations for dinner etc.

United KingdomI loved my stay at Number 8, Sue and Patrick were the perfect hosts. Both were really lovely and warm, and I felt really looked after during my solo stay. The breakfast was great, the room was comfortable and clean, and the bed and shower were both very good. I was nervous about travelling on my own beforehand, but the neighbourhood felt really safe and was fine to walk home alone at night (it's just off a main road so lots of people around). Would absolutely stay here again!

The Hotel was small and very comfortable which we like. The Hosts were very pleasant and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was all we could wish for. The location was in a quite street but within a very short stroll to Cheltenham centre. It was so good that we will returning in the near future
