Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SerbiaIt will be higher grade than 8, but in our room heating didn’t working and it was cold for the end of the April. So they changed our room next morning. They should check if everything works before our check in or to have some electric heater for a substitute to help us to get worm. Also one night no hot water for couple hours.

GermanyThe mattress was not very comfortable (hard), even though I am used to non-soft mattresses. The windows do have not good isolation, I believe it must be cold in winter... But for us was ok (we went on April)
Helpful staff, comfortable room, change the towels during the week. Our room has coffe machine, a small kitchen with cutlery, small fridge and microwave. Enough if you want to prepare small meals. The location is superb, near the Baker Street Station and Regent Park. It's a very safe and clean area. I would certainly go back.

The location was great - 5 mins from underground and Marylebone station and in a bustling area - felt very safe as a solo traveller. The price was great and the amenities were also very good. The kitchenette was useful and there was even a hairdryer and iron. Coffee machine was an unexpected treat - I expected much less for the price and was pleasantly surprised.

United KingdomHowever........ the room (ground floor) was very noisy. We had been assured by the receptionist that noise would not be a problem. Noise from room above, people using the front door and also from the road throughout the night. The sash window was single glazed, so not soundproofed at all and also had a lot of condensation. The mattress was very poor quality/lumpy and very uncomfortable. We tried giving very polite and constructive feedback about this to the member of staff at reception in the morning, suggesting better quality mattresses and some form of soundproofing, both of which would be easy to implement. He could not have been less interested if he had tried! No attempt at an apology and very poor customer skills and attitude. So unfortunately would not return, which is a real shame as when we checked in we thought we had found a real gem. :-(
The room was clean and very well equipped with fridge, safe and cooking facilities and utensils. Location very convenient for tube. We were able to leave our bags in reception after check out so that we could spend the day in London without carrying bags, which was appreciated. Please note however that bags must be collected before 9pm as there is no-one in reception after this time

GreeceThe room was not the same that we booked from booking. The floor in the bedroom was really damaged, maybe from humidity, so it was very annoying and the window was broken. The most annoying thing was that in front of our window there was the staff's room, where they stored the towels etc. The problem is that we wope up 2 days with 3 people in front of our window and another 2 nights we just show a man in front of our windows who was taken the used towels and the tubish of the hotel. So that was scary and there was absolutely no privacy!

United KingdomMy room was tiny. I didn't mind too much as I was only there for one night, but there was nowhere to put anything down, not even a small shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. It wasn't all that quiet - not riotous by any means, but I did get woken up once or twice by people coming and going.
Everything went smoothly. No problems at all with staff or the room. It was clean, well-equipped and very close to Baker St station. I didn't need the iron or coffee-maker, but I did use the shower, fridge, kettle and hairdryer, which were all in good working order. I'd definitely stay there again.

United KingdomThe floor of the rooms were hard flooring, with no matting or something to wipe your shoes. When it was raining, it just left dirty water stains. The room I had, the lamp didn’t work so had to use the bathroom light as the secondary (main was too bright before bed), and also the was pretty blocked so water too a long to to clear.
146 Studios was very close to Baker Street and Marylebone Stations, makes it very easy to get to. There are decent amount of food offerings in the nearby area.
