Really clean and quiet, close to Hove

Fair bit of construction work going on in the flat below during our stay but we were out most of the time. Still had an amazing stay.

Steps were the only thing, but perhaps there were mentioned in the advert and I did not ready it properly.

Booked this place for my mum to come and visit for a few days. She was very pleased with the bed, the space, the ameneties. She liked that there was everything to make coffee and breakfast. She like the bathroom a lot. Overall she was very pleased and I recommend this place for other people coming to visit the splendid. Also, compared to other places in Brighton and Hove, this price is difficult to beat. Well done to the hosts.

Laura was so lovely and helped with any questions we had. The room itself was spotless and had everything we needed inside, including coffee, towels and an iron. Quiet neighbourhood and comfortable bed, so slept really well. Definitely recommend!

I liked everything about this property. Surrounding parking is mainly “Residents Only” but Laura can provide a permit for £5 per day.

Spacious, light, quiet and comfortable. Stylish and high specification finish throughout. Extremely well located in a quiet neighbourhood minutes away from Hove train station and a supermarket. Highly recommended.

There is a heating system in place that takes a bit of getting used to. The heating is automatically switched on for two hours in the morning and for two hours at night, you cannot regulate it yourself. It makes sense in the times we live in, but it did make the room feel quite chilly a lot of the time, since the weather had started to be colder. So it is better to bring a warm vest. This said, Laura would easily adapt the times and switch the heating on for more or longer with a quick message. As I said, she was very responsive.

For me, the best thing was that it was just around the corner from where my daughter lives, which warrants a 10 on location. In general, there is a bus stop very close to go into town. The house is in a beautiful street, close to the beach and very very quiet at night. The bed is super comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with everything you need. The smart shower is wonderful. The whole room is lovingly furnished and equipped and is charming, especially in the mornings, when it is flooded with sunlight. It felt very much like home. Laura is a very responsive, patient and friendly host. I loved it.

The only thing that could be better is the water pressure in the shower, but this is probably out of the hosts control so seems unfair as the place really is a gem of a find!

The bed and pillows were so comfy! Best nights sleep I've had away for a long time! It was beautifully clean and had everything we needed and more!

Laura was the sweetest with us. We had a nice chat when we arrived and everything was perfect during our stay. The flat was immaculate and everything was in working order. Bonus for interesting books available to read before bed.

The shower wasn’t that powerful and you couldn’t move the tv nearer to the bed.

All the little details put into this stay were amazing! There were instructions everywhere, the room was so pleasantly decorated, very neat and tidy and just so cute and quaint! We really enjoyed our stay. We come to Brighton on a yearly bases to have a weekend for ourselves and watch a game (of course!), last year we stayed in Brighton central and this year Hove was just what we needed and lovely. The area is so cute and full of independent shops and coffee shops! Highly recommend!

A small thing, some simplified instructions on microwave and hob use would have helped.

Fully equipped, everything you could need to actually start a new life not just cater for a short holiday is provided in this spotlessly clean apartment. Excellent location for exploring the more relaxed and less touristy side of Brighton and Hove. Close to the beach and a short walk from Hove Station with ample bus routes and a taxi stand at the end of the street, which is a few quid cheaper than Uber.

No fan or air-conditioning. Was rather hot at night to sleep. If you open the windows, the noise of the seagulls could be a hindrance. Would be nice to have a fan or air-conditioning unit. You also get 1 set of keys, 2 sets of keys could help.

Clean, walkable distance to beach, everything you would need was there for you. Size of room very nice. Very comfy.
