Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Rachel was so helpful as we had been let down last minute by another host. The house was beautiful and it was nice to extend our group into the apartment on site. One Hot tub wasn't working but that was ok as we managed to make good use of the other one.

Saudi ArabiaA lot of pictures are either old or don’t belong to the property, they are for other building (newer) at the back of this one which belongs to the same owner. Also the washing machine location is very untidy and dusty.

United KingdomThe property is newly built so as you would expect it’s all clean and fresh but there are a few snagging issues which need to be addressed like the master bedroom and en suite doors not closing properly. No proper extractor fan in the kitchen so I wouldn’t want to cook anything too smelly! Also the kitchen has quite limited numbers of crockery and cutlery - the dishwasher was hardly used as a result and a bit pointless! I don’t think only 1 mug provided per guest is sufficient when paying this amount for example. The variety of pots/pans could be better, also didn’t find any trivets for hot pans. Hopefully these comments are taken on board and addressed for future guests as it really good be a great property!
We had a lovely stay here for Edinburgh marathon - the property is right on the route so for future guests this weekend be warned you cannot get the cars out of the drive on race day and you also struggle to get across the race route on foot! It backs on to the golf course and race course with lovely walks.
