Things I disliked: The staff was really stiff and not welcoming. No one helped with the luggage when we came. they promised an iron which we had to borrow from the reception with no ironing equipment. the room was small and the beds were not stable and kept on moving which was annoying . the TV channels signals were not stable all the time, we couldn’t watch TV. the place was not clean properly, I tested the staff by placing items and seeing if they are cleaning and they kept on missing spots multiple times. The location was semi good however there were multiple other options down the street that might work just fine, the shower was stable.

Basic repairs needed. Wobbly tap and dodgy shower that needs descaling in room 203. Half the spot lights didn’t work either. Staff weren’t very friendly. We had to ask specifically for WiFi info. This could be included in room info folder

Good location. Smart TV very welcome. Agreed to take in luggage ahead of check in which was appreciated.

Noise. Its noisy. Its not the area. Its a quiet street and location. Its within the hotel. Our room was right on the lift so could hear and people getting in and out. Doors don't seal tight and no sound proofing. I took ear plugs thankfully

Nice location in that it's not in central London. Walkable to a couple of tube options, Notting hill, portobello Rd market and the park. Room was fine. It's not expensive so wasn't expecting much. Towels and bedding nice. Bed comfy.

It is a shame to have this nice building in that area and keep it so outdated and dirty. Bathroom decently clean but dust is everywhere and completely unclean.

I really loved the location, almost centrally but very quite and safe. Clean area with nice stores, groceries cafes and metro stations.

The radiator in the bathroom could do with being bled (airpockets) it did make some noise during the night. The bedside light was leant in the corner against the wall, it was broken, do not touch it as its hard to put back. you could hear if someone used the lift, not so much the door but the humming movement of it going up and down. to be fair once i was asleep, the noises were not a bother, maybe the alochol helped.

Staff was welcoming and helped with getting me booked in. The room 204 was nice and big, had a tea and coffee maker. i did not use it. Plenty of towels and soap/shampoo.

I asked ahead of time about storing luggage while we explored the city. Their answer was "sure". Upon arrival we discovered that "storing luggage" meant keeping it in the hotel lobby at our own risk. And the desk staff was not overly happy or accommodating to do so. The room could use updating and a deep clean. All of the beds had sand in them (possibly from the disintegrating decorative pieces. No hair dryer, no iron or ironing board.

The location was convenient and the space in the room was great for our family of 4. There were separate twin beds for my boys and a separate room for me and my husband.

We couldn't turn the radiator off, and the technician/member of staff came to help and said it just takes a while to switch off and it was turned off. That radiator was never turned off - it was broken. It was boiling in the room. The shower didn't have an adequate lip before it reached the floor, so the water flooded the bathroom floor the whole stay - it wasn't clogged at all, it was just badly designed. The staff members seemed a bit passive-aggressive/rude. No soap/shampoo so I'm glad we brought our own. Not enough coffee provided in the room either. I'm assuming this is all due to us having the cheapest room, these issues would probably not be in one of the more expensive rooms.

Great location, good beds and the room was a nice size. Fancy lobby and I assume other fancy rooms (we had a cheap room but it did the job).

The venue seriously needs an upgrade and something also needs to be done about the door to the stairs on the third floor because it kept slamming shut whenever someone opened it and it would jolt us awake. The radiator in the room also kept making noise throughout the night so be barely got any sleep. There is also no way I’m even plugging in the kettle, which looks positively prehistoric. As for the staff, every morning we would get a knock on the door from the maid even though we had the DND sign on the door, and when we checked in they barely spoke to us or give us any details regarding the hotel (they didn’t even bother to mention that we might need a code to re-enter the premises!). Even though I had selected the option to pay at check in, money was taken out of my account the day before. In this case it was fine, but what if I had planned on paying with a different card or split with my friend?

Location was great. Amazing typical street in Notthing Hill. Nice pub just next to the hotel and 10min away from the worth-visiting “The Churchill Arms”. 10min away from the closest tube station (Bayswater) and less than 15 from Notthing Hill Gate.

Really liked it. I had a single room which was lovely decor and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was lovely and modern. I was running late so never got to try the breakfast which was included in my booking but I’m sure it would have been lovely! This hotel was a pleasant surprise
