To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaWhile the bedroom was clean, the list of broken or not working items was long. The shower is best described as "an accident waiting to happen". A staff member at check-in was advised and their level of interest appeared to be nil.

MalaysiaRoom is quite dusty, shower area doesn't drain well, bathroom tiles were cracked, quite noisy at night as it's next to the main road and the window can't be shut fully.
The bed is comfy, the room is quite spacious, good water pressure for a hot shower after a long day of walking. Location is fair, walkable distance to Victoria Station, Belgrave Square. Staff helped us stored our luggage after check out.

United States of AmericaNot reccomended for tourists, its too far to walk to the bus or metro everyday, I had to order a rideshare too many times. The staff weren't outright rude, but definately not welcoming or helpful either. I had an electicity problem in my room that caused the hotels blow dryer to spark and burn my hair and the outlet to spark. The outlet damaged my steamer. The staff just said they will replace blow dryer. The bathroom smelled like sewer. Also they need to reinforce the old windows with soundproof windows, because everything happening on the street is heard clearly from three floors up.

United KingdomThe size of the room. The rooms were very small not bad for a one night stay but it would be difficult if staying for a weekend with more than two people. Tv didn’t work and bathroom was absolutely tiny. The showers were also a rainfall design so it was impossible to just wash without getting your hair wet as the shower cubicle is so small.
Location was great surroundings were quiet and safe. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were happy to store our luggage before and after check in which was very helpful. Beds were also very comfortable.

MaltaOur room was on first floor and although there is a lift, it does not stop you at the floor so you have to go down or up some stairs with luggage anyhow. We had a balcony overlooking the street and it was a little noisy and rooms are not at all sound proof so anyone coming in and out banging doors...you wont get much rest if you are a light sleeper. No a/c in the room in fact the central heating was on and we did not realised and it became way too hot inside the room during the night.
The shower is comfortable and overall the room was very clean. There were usb plugs to charge phones without the need to use the plug. Comfortable beds.
