Kitchen was generally well-equipped, but could do with having a tin opener and grater. Some of the lights in en-suite bathrooms weren’t working, but otherwise fine to use (depends if you don’t mind showering in the dark!). Back door wouldn’t lock but garden fully enclosed so secure all the same.

Great location for visiting Windsor and Legoland. Easy check-in via call from owner and key box. Off-road parking spaces for two cars. Nice, spacious and clean accommodation with plenty of options for comfortably sleeping 3 adults and 3 teenagers. Comfy beds with bedding and towels provided. Peaceful residential street with easy access to main roads. Kitchen sufficiently equipped to make a simple shared evening meal and basic breakfasts.

Broken sofa in front room, bit dangerous as we had children but there were three sofas and other seating so we could sit comfortably, wallpaper was a bit tatty in places, we cooked our dinner and there was a lack of certain utensils I.e baking trays

The couches infront of the tv were a bit flimsy. One had basically caved in.

Each person had their own bedrooms which was brilliant. Great location if you are visiting Thorpe park. Right on the river Thames. Harvested round the corner was lovely for breakfast. Nice walk upto the magner carter and water sports on the river. Ideal for a family/friend getaway 👍🏻 could easily have done another night.

The property is well used and had lots of damage throughout. There was also not enough glasses so anyone staying in the future should take their own glasses. One of the sofas in the communal area is broken as well which made it very difficult to all sit comfortable.

The property was great for a large group of friends. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms and a decent sized lounge and patio area.

Cleaner came during checkout. Started cleaning the rooms. We noticed the towels were hanged for drying instead of washing for the next guest. That is not acceptable.

The heating didn’t work so the house was cold, even members of our party that don’t usually feel cold were cold. There weren’t enough towels for the whole party and the cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch.

Great spacious home with beds to accommodate all of our party and plenty of bathrooms. Good size living space with wifi and TV. Added bonus of a trampoline in the garden that the kids loved.

Needs a good clean and tidy. Lots of kitchen cupboards but hardly anything in them apart from empty boxes and mismatched plates etc. under sink there was mess but loads of cleaning supplies on windowsill. No plugs for bath or kitchen sink. Fridge was extremely iced up and looked as if it had seen better days. Could really do with the little bits sorting the house and garden just felt a bit unfinished. My grown up children said it reminded them of student accommodation. The locks on doors and camera in hall were bit unnerving for me

Plenty of room for my grown up family, convenient location for Thorpe park. Comfortable beds which had clean linen good showers. Parking for 2 cars our third car was ok in quiet residential street. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We arrived back late after a long day at Thorpe park , it was perfect for us to stay altogether but I don’t think I’d cope if I was there longer than a night. The kitchen, although spacious and modern with lots of cupboard space could do with a good deep clean. The fridge freezer especially, was quite unpleasant, it needed a real clean and defrosting, with marks around the door seal (unsure if this was rust or congealed food). The cupboard were cluttered with empty boxes from new purchases and other things - needs a sort out to leave empty cupboard space for visitors. The only bathroom could do with updating in line with the spec of the rest of the property. The shower rooms could have been cleaner, having limescale deposits around the sinks / taps, although this is a minor niggle. The outside area at the rear looked like it was in the process of being updated, currently just a concrete base. This was not a problem for us, as we were only there overnight but would have been a nice addition had we been staying longer; it's a good size, so will be another plus for the property if / when works completed.

Communication with the owners was good, thank you and although only there for one night, 11 of my family had a very pleasant stay. The location was great for what we wanted, in a nice and quite residential area. It is a generous sized property / rooms, with modern, bright decor. The kitchen area is spacious with plenty of cupboard space and dining area set out nicely. One of the best features for our needs was that most bedrooms had bright, modern ensuites. There was space for our 3 medium sized cars at the front of the house.

Disgusting - In our opinion this property should be removed by Booking.com until the owners dramatically improve the hygiene and safety of the property. They need to carry out an initial deep clean of everything, replace the oven and fridge and sort the whole property out to an acceptable standard. They then need to clean properly after every stay. There were 8 adults staying here and everyone felt the same. The property is filthy, bed linen soiled, no mattress protectors, spare bedding in a wardrobe screwed up - not sure what was clean/used. One bed had linen that looked like it had poo on it. No pillows/duvets/towels for the guests using the sofa beds. There was a wardrobe in one room that fell over onto you when you opened the door, the furniture in the loung is either falling apart, broken or filthy. In the kitchen - the oven and fridge are filthy. Smoke filled the room when we used the oven, there were no oven gloves, no tea towels, not enough plates or glasses, dirty cutlery. Bathrooms - generally dirty and stained glass, lack of any toiletries. The floors are filthy and some boards lifting up so trip hazard. Some of the electrics are unsafe and the smoke alarm missing in the hall. Door locks on each bedroom and a camera in the hall indicate this could have been a property of multi occupation which we suspect would not pass the mandatory HMO safety regulations! Some of our party slept in their clothes as worried about the beds/bedding and wouldn't use the showers. The same things have been complained about time and time again when you read the reviews which I have now done since coming home and it's about time they got the property sorted!!!!! The hosts photos don't reflect the true condition Would never stay here again and would not recommend anyone else does in it's current state.

We have just left. So 2 sofas were broken one of our party sat on the green one and had to put his arm down and has aggravated his frozen shoulder. There were review re the sofas and I did ask if they had been fixed. The smoke alarm is broken in the hall ....not enough towels but luckily we had read that in the reviews so brought our own. The house itself was quite dirty especially in the bathrooms and showers. Quite disappointed 😞 the curtains in the front room are also falling down. Even worse one of the kids in the single bedroom upstairs open the wardrobe and it starting to fall down on him but luckily his dad caught it. You need to secure this to the wall.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY The kitchen was so dirty, the pans burnt that we could not cook our meal. The fridge unhygienic and completely iced up it was not suitable to store food in. The showers were dirty and the water couldn’t drain away due to the amount of hair in the plug. The towels were disgusting, grey not white and it appeared that had been used before. There were no mattress covers and the sheets were so thin you could see the mattress straight through.

Nothing appears to have been cleaned properly for a long time. The gas was turned off so we could not cook, tea towels under the sink were disgusting, two of our rooms we had hairs on the pillows and dubious marks on the duvets. The shower mats look like they have never been washed. On safety notes, the smoke alarms have been removed and off at the fuse board. One of our guests sat on what looks like a bench, fell through and scraped his back badly. With a bit of effort the property could be very good!!

I had to go and buy fairy liquid and tea towels as none provided. The curtains were hanging off the rails in the bedrooms. There was a Hand saw left on top of shed in the garden which anybody could pick up as was sticking out on the side. The Sofa was broken and very uncomfortable to sit on and very cheap like. Also all the bedding was just thrown in the wardrobe not folded neatly and now where to hang any clothes. Also the beds had not been made properly and the towels on top were just folded and laid across. The new stickers were still on the toilets and you could see scum all over the shower doors aswell as the kitchen windows which were not nice!

Good large house for large groups/ families and good enclosed garden with Astro turf as grass so no mud during winter hours and safety enclosed for young children. Good walking distance to walk to for dinner such as harvester and Toby carvery.
