Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomthe room was a lot smaller than the pictures, the shower door was broke, the door wouldn’t lock from the inside so it had to stay open all night, the door you had to force open across the floor, no tv and the signal was awful.

United StatesWe spent a lot of money on this accommodation and we had barely enough room to put our luggages on the ground, let alone walk. We had an accommodation for 4 people and admittedly, I’m shocked they expected any more than 2 could stay in our room….

United KingdomTiny room, tiny bathroom, barely able to sit on the toilet or close the shower, used tissues under the bed, no toilet roll in the room when we checked it, thin walls could hear other rooms clearly at night, crack in the window, shower head doesn't stay up, water pressure was bad, plugs were in a inconvenient place of the room, one of the beds was just a single fold out bed with a cheap mattress, the owner/manager wasn't around and the guy running the place tried his best but didn't seem to know what to do.

United Kingdomthe room was extremely dirty, clumps of loose hair everywhere including on the wall that the bed was up against. The bathroom was awful, hair everywhere, left over body wash, the toilet brush was filthy and covered In ‘stuff’. I tried to check out and no one came even after waiting over 15 minutes. I couldn’t wait any longer because I needed to catch a train. I would not say this is a 2 star hotel.

United StatesBathroom was not clean and there was very little toilet paper. Only one outlet in room, located behind a bed which was difficult to locate and use. Room felt a bit askew, like you are on a boat. Lots of stairs to get to room, which we did not expect.

United KingdomThe bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, I was barely able to sleep on it. Soundproofing from the outside world was fine but noise from the hallway was nearly constant from other customers. Ensuite toilet was absolutely tiny and near unusable due to size limitations, if you're small you might be fine but it really was tiny. TV did not work as there was no signal. Hotel atmosphere and appearance also seemed nothing like the images they advertise with, very much need an update.
Staff were friendly and accommodating - the room I had booked wasn't available but I was given an upgraded room free of charge. Hotel itself is in the perfect location, it's near the underground and is a short walk from Kensington and Paddington. Bed covers and pillows were very comfortable and nice and having shelves in the room was very useful. Shower was a nice size. Really happy that the main light in the room also had a fan for cooling the room.

United Kingdomno duvet on single beds just sheets, bathroom was grubby, toilet seat was broken, mildew in tiles, no where to hang your clothes, only a foot gap between the double bed and single bed, no room to walk around I. the room, no glasses, no tea or coffee facilities in room, stains on the mattress, window did not open, no bulb in light by bed, the toiletries they say are there are what is left by previous occupant and this coat £200 for one night!

United KingdomThe wifi didn't work at all, the room was not clean, especially the bathroom, shower wasn't properly cleaned. The heating was on constantly and could not be turned off, which meant that we had to sleep with our door open with was not safe, but it was just that hot in the room! The room didn't even have a kettle or cups to make tea! I was really disappointed with this hotel

United KingdomLocation was next door to a pub that played loud musical all evening. The heating in our room was constantly on full so made sleeping difficult. TV did not show any channels. Room smelt fusty and mould on walls...very poor standard of cleanliness and comfort. No breakfast as advertised when booked. Didnt expect 5 star but this was at a very bad standard even as a no star rating.
Location was excellent, short tube journey to central London.Some nice restaurants in vicinity.

United KingdomThis is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my entire life, there was barely any toilet paper, we had not proper bath towels, the sheets were stain, toilet seat was broken, shelves and mirror were dirty, balconey was covered in bird poo, we didn't have any toiletries and there was no one at the reception for most of the time and when we checked out the lady was extremely rude to us and started shouting at us when we expressed our complaints about the room...
