Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean, spacious apartment. 3 comfy bedrooms and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. 10 mins walk from train station and easy access to the city centre.

United StatesThere are only 2 actual bedrooms, the twin beds and one of the full beds share a room, with the full being in a loft above one of the twin beds (accessed via ladder like the living room). The bathroom off this room did not have a door, and this is where the jacuzzi tub was. Only one of us ended up using the tub due to the openness of the bathroom.
Host provided easy instructions for check-in. Location is a short walk from many points of interest.

IndiaRoom was not spacious. The property is actually suitable for 2 persons. We were 3 so it was a bit tight for us. Room facilities have to be improved. No hair driers were provided. Inadequate number of crockeries. Even shower space was less.
Location was good. It was just 12 min walking distance from Bristol city centre. There are restaurants and take away shops around.

United KingdomI thought the kitchen was poorly equipped as there was no oven glove. The oven was not clean. Lots of equipment but no basic supply of cooking condiments/oil. Unreasonable to have to buy everything when only there for a weekend. The sofa had eight worrying knife slashes in it which we told the host about as did not want any issue with deposit return and they apologised but it was very poor when I had paid over £500 for 3 nights. There was only one bedside lamp in the bedroom although there were two night tables.
Great location with great restaurants and cafes on the door step. Surprisingly quiet considering on a main road.

United KingdomLess impressed with communication - had to repeatedly chase for information and was told that previously paid parking was no longer available. They recommended another that couldn't be pre booked. The parking option was fine but the miscommunication meant a bit of chasing with the company, etc. We had asked for the flat to be set up in a certain way and despite receiving confirmation this was not done. I messaged about this upon arrival (just to note it as we worked around it as best we could) and had no response. The blind in the middle room did not come down so we had to try and cover the window as best we could as earlier experience with contacting the property had no reply. Only 2 out of our group were able to have hot showers despite leaving plenty of time in between. There was no guide book (that we could find) in the flat that offered any guidance about where our rubbish should go/general guidance about the flat which would have been really helpful.
Very comfortable and plenty of space for our group. The flat is in a very good location and check in was easy.

United KingdomWe needed more toilet roll and dishwasher tablets. Kitchen roll, dustpan and brush etc would have been useful for us to keep the place clean. Apartment sleeps 8 but only had towels for 7, tea/coffee for 6 and the sofa bed was not made up, we had to go looking in the cupboards to find sheets.

The location was fantastic, the kitchen and cooking facilities are great. Bedroom was good, the beds very comfortable. Shower was the only let down for the apartment, the water pressure was none existent. Value for money was very good though.
