No breakfast included in the booking especially for the large amount paid for the two nights, I even specified I was a groomsmen at the wedding and got told there was a note made but nothing come from it. I originally called direct to the hotel but no discount for being part of the wedding party was offered so went ahead and booked via booking.com. The others on the wedding party paid the sane amount yet had a breakfast included!

One of the room's was particularly hot, my husband tried to decrease the temperature however the thermometer wouldn't go below 20 degrees.

Tastefully decorated hotel in a beautiful location. We ate our meals in the bar area as we were travelling with our dog, the staff were very friendly and very attentive towards our dog providing a water bowl and biscuits for her. The dinner and breakfast were delicious with a great choice of menu options.

Noise from the fridge every x hours - if you happened to be trying to get to sleep. Shower water pressure not always consistant - but these are minor.

Wasnt too big, limited noise from any other guests - we were on a foodie trip and restaurant food was great - beds really comfy..location convenient for the area.

Boiler failed one morning so no hot water. These things happen but it would have been nice to have been offered some compensation without asking.

The price could have been a bit better, but I did have to book for Christmas Day, so perhaps that’s why.

The facilities are excellent, clean, comfortable and I was travelling with my service dog so they provided treats, a bed and bowls for her. Beautiful views of the Ribble Valley and the whole hotel was decorated nicely and comfortable.

Not a lot, but I there was some building work going on which I feel we should be advised about on booking, although it didn’t impact my stay at all really. Other very minor things, like a toilet seat that won’t stay up, a shower curtain than doesn’t stop water covering the whole bathroom, some grubby trim between bath and floor.

The food was superb. Excellent dinner and a really good breakfast.

Staff some of them very miserable at the wedding venue, asked about more chairs and tables for the evening of the wedding was told there wasn’t anymore. 40 chairs which was from daytime but another 40-60 were invited to the evening, I asked what about the ones in the other room was told you can go and get them if you want them. Was not my job to be moving tables and chairs for guests
