Well id like to put 3 star, but unfortunately this wouldn't be seen, as no one ever looks at the low reviews, myself included. Well the pictures you see online, arnt anything like the real life version. We stayed in the penthouse...if you can call it that. The bath Is severely damaged..but if you can cope with 2inch of silicone lathered on it with gold glitter than thats fine, apparently its two days old..didn't realise that silicone discoloured after two days. We nearly smashed our head into the sink, falling over the step, on closer inspection, the floor in the bathroom isn't actually stuck down! When we mentioned this to the host, he just shrugged his shoulders and said okay, without offering to rectifying it. The paint job is shoddy, 1 coat springs to mind, painted around the radiators. The hall walls up the stairs have carpet badly stuck to the walls as some sort of feature, the only feature though is that they are hanging off. The carpark is crap, rubble galore. Claims to be 5* nowhere near 5* shoddy workmanship and rude hosts. Beware!

My only complaint would be the car park. I did scratch my car on the entrance into the car park as it is very very narrow. Also there aren’t enough spaces for the number of guests, cars were parking in front of others and blocking them. We ended up parking in a council car park about 10 minutes away which cost a further £25

The very rude man next door, because we went to the wrong hotel and instead of him telling us our hotel was literally next instead he gave us abuse and told us to go away,I wouldn't recommend staying next with that kind of welcome, absolutely disgusting

Absolutely loved every,great hosts on arrival and throughout the stay.really enjoyed breakfast,fresh warm quisaunts were delicious,our room was comfortable and clean,it had everything we needed and our hosts were able to accommodate us in every way,the location was great right near the beach,well within walking distance of shops,pubs and entertainment,we had sessions in the sauna and jacuzzi,this was fabulous and relaxing.i would recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying here again.

I can't fault my stay at The Chatwal Boutique Hotel. The room was clean, spacious and decorated to give it a lovely light and fresh feel. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything worked, there was plenty of storage space - both shelving and hanging, a modern TV and kettle etc. The en suite bathroom was large and immaculately clean with a nice shower. Both of which were equipped as they should be. Julius and Dreda are so kind and friendly, which really made me feel welcome and comfortable as soon as I arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, incredible how much Julius and Dreda went out of their way to assist me. The food was fantastic, Jerk chicken for dinner a must try as is the cooked breakfast. I spent most of the night at the well-stocked bar speaking to Julius and Dreda and listening to music a great night. Amazing stay. I am so happy that I found this hotel in Blackpool; I shall definitely be booking again in the New Year. I can recommend this as a perfect place to stay for anyone wishing to visit Blackpool.

I think it would be fair to offer cooked breakfast with an additional cost rather than full price. However the continental was more than enough for me.

Great wee hotel, the hosts are very welcoming. Room was clean, bed comfy and with a nice wee touches with fruit, snacks and drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was amazing, best eggs benedict I've ever had. I will definitely book again but stay for longer to make the most of the spa for a massage and book in for dinner. Menu looked amazing eg. Jerk Chicken, goat curry.
