One bathroom per house meant we were sharing between 6 to 8 people

Easy booking process. 15 minutes by taxi to York. Exclusive feeling site down a country road. 2 other hen dos across the site so we didn't feel conscious about making too much noise. Hot tubs were a lovely addition. Facilities are basic but we didn't want for any more. Perfect location for a hen do!

Very clean, enough space for a family of 4. Separate bathrooms are a bonus. Lovely seating and kitchen area. Everything we needed. Location literally 15mins drive to York.

The shower pressure was very low however we were still able to use it, so not the end of the world. The oven also didn’t seem to get warm, that could’ve been user error.

We booked property for 8 adults but there was only 1 toilets in the property.

Property was good and very clean . On duty manger Ben was really helpful and came to property as soon as we needed help .

The blinds were quite fiddly to open and close daily not sure if this was due to the tenants previously not follwoing previous instructions on how to close and ooen the blinds. There was times where I couldn't open and close blinds as required. But this was noted by the facilities manager on site upon check in. We also had an incident where we had called out for assistance upon checking in 5 minutes later found the the bathroom toilet was blocked however this was fixed immediately. As the cottages are close together on our last night there was a party of 60 or so checked into cottages next to ours unfortunately the music and loud screaming as they had been drinking kinda ruined our last night stay. But all in all a great place with great staff.

We stayed at Cottage 1 which was very clean with all amenities provided as advertised. The staff truly make the place and professionalism and couteous at all times with the customer at the heart of all that they do.

Only thing is it was a bit pricey. There were 3 of us but it sleeps 6 so that would have halved price per person. Complex virtually empty which was actually a plus but wondered if price caused it

Can't fault the cottage, absolutely everything you could need was there and more. We had cottage 3 which is accessible and exceeded our expectations. Excellent communication from start to finish. Highly recommended

Great location on outskirts of York. Quiet and away from other (none related) properties. Farmhouse rooms bigger than expected and well planned out with mirrors & plugs where useful.

You had to make sure taxis were booked well in advance when going into York city as very busy & you could be stranded for hours if not booked.

Lovely large clean well equipped property perfect for our hen do. Property was left open on arrival & keys left on table in the porch which seemed strange but worked fine. Loved the large hot tub !

I did email Murton grange to say that the light fitting in the second bedroom was faulty, the lamp in the second bedroom was faulty , they’d benefit from using led bulbs as my daughter burnt her finger on the bulb of the lamp. there was an awful sewage smell that came from the kitchen sink. & one of the dining chairs was loose.
