An exceptional hotel. I visit lots of hotels and in the UK they are generally tired and run down. Not the Mullion Cove. Someone clearly has an interest in it. Perfectly understated, superbly maintained, great quality furniture and fittings, the best location and view ever. And particularly, excellent staff. Rarely do you come across people, which without exception, gave the best service. Well done, may you continue for many years.

Can't think off anything to make are stay better. only thing was we only stayed two nights looking forward to booking again will looking at dates already.

Friendly atmosphere, wonderful spa, nothing too much trouble, wonderful sea views ,good food, made too feel welcome and nothing too much trouble made are fortieth wedding anniversary special. would like a special mention to waitress Katie so friendly and Kirsty in spa who looked after my wife.

All of the spa appointments had been taken which is fair enough as we booked late, but we didn't realise there were other facilities that we still could have used, so missed a trick there. We will have to return again!

The view was truly spectacular, perhaps one of the best in the whole of England. And the room was sumptuous to match. We had a bottle of prosecco waiting followed by a fantastic meal. The staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great walk on the surrounding coastal path the following day. This was a short but very special trip.

We were charged extra £5 for the first nights meal. We only had 2courses..main and dessert each night. When I queried it I was told it was an extra charge for the catch of the day but it was not stated on menu. Menu said supplement for steak meal (£12)and cheese n biscuits(£3) only. Also Mattress was lumpy..time for new mattress. And pillows were not good quality and also need replacing. Would have used spa if hotel had a covered walkway from lounge across to spa. In bad weather it's not good having to walk outside .

Meals were superb and given lovely seaview room with bath and shower. All staff were amazing.

We didn’t like the view from our room into the back courtyard and is definitely worth asking and paying the extra for a sea view. There was a real smell of dog in the hallways and we were woken early by a dog barking in one of the rooms near to ours. It is though a dog friendly hotel and we understand that we choose to book a dog-friendly hotel.

We liked the lovely welcome from the staff. The staff made our stay. Smiling and so friendly. We also loved the lounges where we could sit and relax by the open fire with a cup of coffee. It was a cold evening but the heating in the room was on when we arrived, it was so nice to walk into a warm room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We slept very well.

Breakfasts varied each morning. There was no consistency. For example, full Cornish sometimes came with one mushroom or several, one piece of bacon or several, one morning raw poached egg, toast not toasted. But the kippers were outstanding. I feel more training could be offered to the staff cooking in the mornings and do understand different staff work shifts, but it’s a lovely small hotel so breakfasts need to be worked on.

Outstanding location. Remote and quiet. The hotel felt homely and gracious. A lovely old building.

Single beds were very narrow. Felt the menu in bar and restaurant could have been explained better, as we booked a table in the bar on our first night expecting a more relaxed vibe but was given the same a la carte menu as what is used in the restaurant..

The hotel had several lovely little lounges with sea views, perfect for storm watching in. Location and view is brilliant.

The staff were really friendly and provided excellent service. The room had amazing view and was extremely comfortable. The breakfast and the food at the restaurant and the bar were extremely good. The location was amazing and the hotel is extremely dog friendly!

The pillows were a little on the soft side, but to be fair we didn't ask if any firmer pillows were available. Car parl signage on the approach to the hotel could be better.

We stayed here for one night in October. On arrival car parking is not clear, but once you are aware there is ample space. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, there was little noise from inside or outside the hotel. The tea and coffee facilities in our room were excellent. We used the spa facilities during our stay which were very good, but the electronic lockers could have instructions nearby as we had to find staff to assist. The 3 pools were pleasant and well thought out. We used the room service, and this was reasonably priced, delivered in good time. We slept well, although the pillows were quite soft but to be fair we didn't enquire about firmer pillows. We were able to easily keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was in the main restaurant which has nice views out to sea and across to Mounts Bay. There was a good choice for breakfast, and the service was swift. Overall a very nice stay, in a lovely location.

We were a little disappointed at the range of options on the dinner menu. Breakfast was excellent and catered for every taste, but for the evening meal and bar menu we found choices rather limited.

Rooms were very comfortable and room service was excellent. They were done while we had breakfast. The location of the hotel is outstanding with beautiful views from every room, especially the dining room.

Although the food was of excellent quality and value. The portion sizes were far too much, which resulted in a lot of waste, which in my opinion was not very eco friendly.

Room could have been better cleaned, quite alot of dust on some of the unit surfaces. The fan dust in the bathroom was so clogged when turned on it all fell to the ground and the shower had no dial so was not possible to tell where hot and cold was

Location was excellent and views to die for. Breakfast was extensive and very nice. Spa facilities were amazing.
