Absolutely shocking. I was running a bath had all my things in there an some guy who lives there ran in there when I had quickly grabbed a clip for my hair in my room which was 2 seconds away.. he would not let me in for my things or anything.. pretty sure he used my bath water and my dressing gown because it was all messed up when I went in to finally grab my things. Never in my life have I been to somewhere so disgusting.. And then not got my money back . When there was no way I was staying there .. there was short hairs on the bed .. Yes you csn lock doors inside but not on your way out !! The kitchen was full of clutter every side was a mess

Nothing .. I left did not even stay and the women has refused to give me my money back.. when I had to book to sleep somewhere else that night.. You can not even lock the doors on your way out! Unless use a coin which anybody can use to reopen it. Was jam packed everywhere full of clutter

The property was good. Very comfortable bed. Had a great sleep. Very kind lady prepared a packed lunch for me instead of the continental breakfast which was included because I was leaving early. It’s not the decor it’s not the location it’s the people you meet and how they make your day better. 5*

The host was really nice managed to park not too far away in a side road. It was possible to park outside but the road looked a little busy for my liking to park there. Reliable wi fi signal, comfy bed and really nice breakfast. Good location for going to Doncaster Dome the next day too

I have never been made to feel so welcome as I did with Flo and Ian. In the morning the hosts had breakfast with the guests which I never seen before. A very friendly atmosphere, a very comfortable bed to sleep in. I have read some of the reviews and some were downright rude. Yes the house might need a little updating here and there but did that have an adverse effect on my sleep and stay.....NO IT DIDN'T.......unlike some people said I didn't feel the place was 'dirty' a little untidy maybe but it's neither here or there to me ( if you want a sterile ,gleaming place to stay book elsewhere) and I found it really good value for money and again I couldn't have wished for nicer hosts and that's very important to me. I am planning to stay with Flo again in the near future if she has anything free for the dates I want. Thank you Flo for having made me feel so incredibly welcome. Tina

On approaching the property you notice quite a number of delivery creates. On entering the premises you were greeted by clutter and a small table with the guest book. I was asked to wait in the dining room, where there were a lot of drink bottles a six-seater dining table two large display cabinets full off glasses, and crockery in front of the window there were books of what I don't know what. One wall had its wallpaper peeling off and stained as if there had been a leak from upstairs. The kitchen did not appear to have a clear work surface. I was shown upstairs to the room in the attic and at this point, I noticed that there was no lock on the door and was only lockable from the inside with a bathroom/toilet door lock. Therefore I was uncomfortable and felt that I could not leave anything in the room whilst I was out. I had. had a long day at work and decided that I would only spend one night in this accommodation and would find another place to stay for the second night. I would recommend that Booking.com send someone to take a look at this property. If you look at the middle photo and zoom in you will see the creates. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Its location is next door to a builder's yard. I wonder if Booking.com view the properties before allowing them on their website. I am disappointed with booking.com ahs the property does not resemble the photos on the website and feel that I should be refunded the cost. This is the first time I have had a problem with any of my many bookins.

I arrived to a very warm welcoming by the owner, made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. the room was nicely prepared and I had a great nights sleep. owner made me a pack to go breakfast bundle due to an early checkout which I thought was very thoughtful!

Flo the host was amazing, such a lovely and welcoming person. the price was also amazing it’s not the ritz but for what you pay it was good value for money. it’s warm, and clean and a real comfy bed. I will go again if in the area rather than a overpriced hotel.

This is a bit of an unconventional acommodation not a typical B&B or hotel, photos show unusual items around the rooms. Easy to find, park & good busses if wanted into town. What makes this so good is the hospitality. 2nd visit & an eclectic mix of guests made it memorable for the good feeling of sharing a meal with interesting people. Ms Mc Cready is someone who puts a lot into making you welcome. I will be back

This is a house not a purpose built b&b so there is one bathroom for everyone. As we were on the top floor it was a floor and a half below us. The house while clean is very cluttered. If you can't cope with that, don't choose here. The photos are accurate so we knew what to expect. We weren't given a key to the house or room so felt we had to get in earlier than we would have so we didn't keep people up. That was a little strange.

Mrs McCreedy was so welcoming. Old house with period features. Good location on bus route to lakeside so great for events at the Eco stadium. On street parking. Great price / value for money.

I liked it all but it wouldn't suit everyone. There's no en-suite, there's more furniture and stuff than is really necessary. My room involved two flights of stairs.. All pretty trivial perhaps but is these things bother you, maybe look elsewhere. I had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

A very friendly welcome. Excellent home cooked food. Staff all really helpful. Nice clean, quiet room with a big bed. Basic but comfortable - and so much better than a generic motel. I shared an excellent evening meal with other guests and we had great chats. Incredibly good value. Very handy for the A1 and M18.

The outside looked dirty. The inside looked dirty, dead flies/wasps on windowsill. The room had no key & could be easily unlocked from the outside.
