We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomLack of parking at the hotel itself. I was warned about this, and the location of the hotel offset the inconvenience of this, but it was still a pity. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the designated car park and you cannot take your car in and out without incurring extra charges
Great location close to the piazza entrance of NEC. Friendly helpful staff and a really fun vibe in the hotel. Lots of communal seating in the foyer. Happy to store bags when I was leaving late after checking out. Great airconditioning in the room that you could leave on when you went out - not what I would usually do for environmental reasons - but when it was in a sunny south facing room and it was 30C outside, it was very much appreciated

IrelandI only have nitpicking complaints, e.g, more shelves would have been nice as there's no wardrobe and a fridge would have been nice as there was a heatwave when we were there, but like I said, that's more nitpicking than anything.
Breakfast was great. Only wish the sign for veggie sausages was down lower as I only saw it on the third day. The main bar/restaurant area of the Moxy was nice and calm, unlike some hotels where breakfast is just stressful due to crowds. The takeaway bag for pastries was a lovely touch as was the free coffee machine in the lobby/food area. We got a voucher for a free drink when we checked in. The location of the Moxy was great for me. I was attending a convention in the Hilton, and unlike what Google Maps said [10 minute walk], it was only a 3 minute walk past a nice lake.

United KingdomMost staff were lovely, but a couple noticeably were not. I’m sure you know who they are - the ones that don’t know how to smile. It’s a shame as the hotel is lovely, but a deadpan face when you check in doesn’t give the best first impression.
Great location for the NEC & Resort World. Breakfast was lovely. Comfortable bed, quirky room. Nice view over the lake on the 6th floor. Ten minute train journey into centre of Birmingham.
