I loved the location of the hotel. And the service at reception. I was served with excellence by an employee who speaks Portuguese. This was very good for my service.

During our stay in feel the rooms are not too sound proof type i feel ashamed they might hear me snoring.

We did look at the breakfast available for a fee but felt it wasn't worth the price.

Room was clean and varily large. Location was awesome and relative to everything. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and left after check out and both times our luggage was put away in a locked room at no charge. Lots of UK hotels and pubs have gone to a cashless system but we were able to pay by cash here for our room.

Paid £179 didn’t include breakfast for that money not worth it just for bed. Not even a bottle water in room stayed in many hotels ones lot cheaper an always had water. Paper cups very dangerous if having tea coffee to hold ☹️

Room decor was and feel was stripped down to a basic budget hotel room. I was not expecting to pay £162 per night for a room with nothing in it, and a disabled toilet that made it feel like a Hospital room. Simply not good enough. Breakfast was below expectations, definitely not in line with other hotels with similar prices. £14 for the breakfast you offer is simply not good enough.

Location is great, right next to St Andrews Square, minute away from George Street and Waverley Train Station. Bed was very comfortable, water in the shower had good pressure.

The room was boiling I asked at reception as there was no shampoo in the container and they brought me some but could do nothing with the air con to turn the heat down

The room could have been cleaner. I could see dust marks where the hoover hadn't gone all the way into the corners near the bed, for example, which was a little disappointing as otherwise it was a good place to stay.

The room was comfortable and had all of the facilities I required for my stay. The TV offers a good range of channels and there was a desk to work on in the evenings. Plenty of hanging and storage space too.

There was no bottled water available to drink and was informed I should drink the tap water. The location for uber to reach was tricky, as the taxi's drivers didn't come up to the front of the hotel, making it difficult to get to the corner with all my luggage. Nobody available to assist with luggage. Didn't like the carpets in the room.

There was no lock on the bathroom door and it didn’t close properly. Although the main door is locked at 10pm we returned just before 10pm and there were youths in the entrance hall. Although they didn’t cause us any problems and were polite, I could see some guests being unsettled by this.
