Location within walking distance of St Helier and the coast. Rooms were a good size and the Continental Breakfast was lovely. Beautifully served and a good choice. Staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble and always with a smile. They really made the hotel what it was.

Quaint, lovely ambience. Friendly staff. The lady running it speaks fluent Spanish and her husband fluent French. Very clean. Excellent value for money.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming, hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was lovely, good choice and plenty of food. Nice to have a hair dryer and toiletries when travelling with just a backpack for a long weekend. Will definitely stay there again.

The bed nearest the windows in room 3 squeaked whenever you moved and wasn't very comfortable.

Loved the fruit option for breakfast. The staff were wonderful as very obliging.

Value for money Christine and Phil where excellent host and very helpful and the last of a dying breed if you flash don’t go stay away if you want a decent but clean room and good breakfast and people can talk to go.

Easy to find at top of High Street basically walk from boat.

Only 2 sockets in the room and were both far away from the bed, easy fix with an extention lead though. And the WiFi wasn't very good in our room (Number4). Both minor issues really, the hotel was excellent.

Staff went above and beyond, room was spotless and kept so daily. Ironing provided aswell, this was really helpful as we were attending a wedding.

My only complaint is that the bath towels were small and a bit coarse.

The location, the staff, the breakfast and the decor were very good. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Best value hotel in Jersey. Most wonderful hosts, Christina and Philip could not be better. All the other staff were lovely. Its just like staying with friends but better. Great location and short walk to great restaurants and shops. Opposite Howard Davis park.

Lack of sockets in the room, two is not enough these days. The curtains let in too much light, they needed to be blackout. The view was the most uninspiring I've ever had. Not enough room in the bathroom to put toiletries etc and a high step to get into the bath/shower. To put all the above comments into context, the hotel is an old one, these are the issues you get, they are niggly for the most part, did they spoil our trip, no.

The breakfast was always plentifully filling, even though it wasn't a hot breakfast. Location assured us, not in the centre of town, but a short walk. I like the fact it had a bar, although I'm a beer snob and there was only one draught beer (lager) on, although there is more in the high season. The shower was very powerful. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The biggest compliment, we would come again.
