Breakfasts were ordered the night before and presented on time at table and cooked to perfection. A lot of maps and books were provided which helped plan each day. These materials were made available for guests to use and take out with them.

freshly cooked breakfast to order, quality ingredients and homemade tattie scones which were delicious.Room was delightfull, clean and spacious wonderfull wildlife garden view, lots of wee extras in room scottish tablet , shortbread ,fresh milk, lovely toiletries, binoculars, torch .map spotlessly clean. bathroom had shower and bath which was welcome after a long day sightseeing having a bubble bath, location was so pretty, lovely big comfy bed and due to location no outside noise. Emily our host was on hand and so welcoming nothing was too much trouble for her, she has put her heart and soul into making this guest house first class and a pleasure .An amazing place to stay and value for money.

A bit off road n not easy with a trolley case to get there.

Very clean and well presented. Our host was so lovely without being too in your face. Loved the food and the bathroom was stunning. Lots of wildlife to see from your window.

Everything about monamore was just perfect. Emily is so welcoming, its very homely and comfortable. Loved watching the wildlife in the morning from the huge window with a cuppa. Decorated lovely and very very clean. Bathroom was outstanding.

Emily's enthusiastic welcome was a great start to our stay. The room was excellent, and there was a bath to ease the aches of the day!. The wide choice at breakfast was well presented and when next we return to Arran our stay will be longer

Consider yourself lucky if you found Monamore Guesthouse here. Look no further if you want a relaxing and pleasant stay on Arran. Emily is such a wonderful host, she will not let you down. We felt welcome from the moment she invited us into the house. She goes above and beyond for her guests. From freshly handmade cookies in a jar, a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge to binoculars on the window ledge. She probably knows what you may need for your stay better than yourself. Emily also runs Monamore in a environmentally sustainable way without saying it out loud. All the products provided in the bathroom were clearly carefully selected and responsibly produced.

The house was so homely and Emily was the perfect hostess. She even shared he recipes with us. The setting at the edge of the wood with the Red Squirrels made the break.

Excellent breakfast with ample choice. The host had produced detailed booklet with a "host" of of information about the venue and the island. Rear garden is a little nature reserve.
