Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The place is absolutely spotless, I don’t like walking bare foot in places other than my house but in this place I was able to. Relatively quiet road, just standard noise. Very close to the city centre, it was around 6-10 mins to town and £4.60-£8 for an Uber into town. The guests were very accommodating, a guide was left on how to work appliances etc. great stay, I will definitely be staying again!

United KingdomI went with my boyfriend last weekend and the house was amazing, we had a very nice and comfortable weekend, the sofa was amazing and we loved the fact that we could have log in the tv for Netflix. Very clean and had everything that was needed. Not too far from the city centre and the bus stop at 3 minutes from the house. Highly recommended.

United KingdomThe sofa bed in the living room is incredibly uncomfortable when used as a sofa, we used scatter cushions to soften it a little!
The location was excellent, as we were in Birmingham for cricket at Edgbaston, and the house was barely a 15 minute easy walk to the stadium. The house is not far from a main road and on an estate, but the neighbourhood was lovely and quiet.

United KingdomThe sofa is very uncomfortable - my spouse described it as a "waiting room" sofa - not somewhere that you would want to sit for very long. The bed was also very low and rather small, but ok.
Location was great as attending the test match at Edgbaston (about 10 - 15 minutes walk away from the property). Property was exceptionally clean and tidy. Milk and snacks left in the fridge (Thank you!)

The property exceeded my expectations and was absolutely beautiful. The host was easily accessible via phone and was able to answer all my questions. She was helpful and allowed us into the property earlier than check-in in order to prepare for a party. Parking was easily accessible and there was free parking for others who had shortly join the party.

United KingdomThe only thing that could have been better was a longer time for the security light to stay on when you come back late at night - make sure to have your phone torch switched on ready so you can see the locks in the main door if you get back when it's dark :-)
The house is in fantastic condition and has everything you could need for your stay. A nice touch was the pint of milk in the fridge along with a couple of kit-kat bars plus tea and coffee as a welcome pack. We went to attend a cricket match at Edgbaston and the house is only a very short walk across the park from the ground so very easy to get there and back after the game. It's also a short(ish) walk to the main attractions in the centre of Birmingham so you wouldn't necessarily need to drive from the house.
