The parking for two cars was pretty tight for two large cars as there was scaffolding right opposite the garage so was very tight.The kitchen was not as clean as it could have been and there was quite a few dog hairs also. The rest of the house was clean although a musty smell was present in the front room. Having to provide a selfie and photo ID was a pain and not quite sure why this was requested as never been asked for before. Very early exit of 9am but I believe if you book direct you get a later exit time.

The bedrooms were comfortable. The location was good. The hot tub was a nice addition . The property was value for money. Short walking distance to the beach. Easy access to public transport. Two bathrooms on lower floor.

Place was about a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Paignton. Unfortunately we had an issue with the oven and the owner was unable to get it mended whilst we were there , which was a shame.

Needed a hand rail for the very steep stairs. Dusty and musty smell not very well cleaned. Large glass coffee table wasn’t not actually secured to the base legs and my little boy nearly pushed it off and hurt himself. Hot tub smelt dirty water wasn’t very clean. Some plates and cups were chipped and random long hairs everywhere. The house just felt bit neglected and in need of a deep clean.

A couple of very minor things but nothing out of fault to the host or to the stay itself.

We really liked the hot tub it was a wonderful bonus and so nice to have it privately. The house was spacious, the rooms were all modernly decorated as described. It was also nice to have a safe parking space for the car. And the check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The host was super friendly and attentive and kept in touch where possible.

Location was fantastic, we walked to Preston Sands and along to Paignton. Lovely break, comfortable beds and absolutely spotless. Contact with the host was quick and easy, would highly recommend!

Nothing I didn’t like, however one thing to bear in mind is our 4 wheel drive has a rail on the roof and we only just managed to fit under the car port…. it would be worth checking with the host for measurements if you have a large vehicle with a rail or something similar

I really loved how the house was decorated and how everything was there ready for us to use. Close to the beach and all amenities. The host was very lovely and didn’t mind me asking questions. Bonus was the hot tub which meant we could enjoy a glass of wine and chill. One more thing, I’m very particular about clean houses and this was sparkling so I was very happy

Our only slight issue was that only some of the beds were made up even though there was 7 guests staying. so we had to make three beds up. That is only a very small issue and took no time in resolving. other than that it was perfect!

the property was beautiful and in an excellent Location. there was plenty of kitchenware for everyone and the place was exceptionally clean.

where it was . it appeared as if it was in a row of takeaways from front and the back entrance was full of rubbish in the other houses , no view , two bathrooms downstairs and none upstairs I wouldn’t have picked it if I’d seen any pictures of the outside at all

We would have liked instructions for the cooker and dishwasher. The heating was a bit hit and miss the downstairs bedroom was like an oven while the main front bedroom was like a fridge. The windows could have been wiped better as there was mould on the window in the bathroom and front bedroom..

The house was a good size. Though the lounge was a little small 4 adults and 2 children. But close to the beach and shops. And we enjoyed the hot tub.

The WiFi didn’t work for the duration of our stay. Contacted owner who said she would speak to her provider but never heard anything. Mould on one of the living room walls needs addressing as it caused a very bad musty smell, had to have the windows open due to some of us being asthmatics. Blind in the master bedroom isn’t long enough for the window. Hand rail needed on the stairs due to children going up and down them.

Hard to find anything to complain about without trying to be nit picky which would be pointless.

Property was everything we could of asked for and more, very spacious bedrooms which accommodated all of our travelling party, the location was just far enough away from the pier/city centre as was within walking distance yet was located in a quiet part which allowed the kinds to wind down with ease. Hosts were in contact regularly checking everything was fine which was lovely, Have seen some reviews regarding the hot tub being over looked which is baffling really as i never noticed anyone looking out the windows nor would it of bothered me as it was a great added feature we all loved. was our first time in paignton and we all ready can’t wait to come back will definitely be staying here again even if we don’t take the kids, just wish we had seen it sooner as would of booked it for when we attend electric bay too. Thankyou for having us x

Arrived at the property, had a problem with getting the key had to contact Lenka no answer. Waited outside for a call back, eventually Lenka sent a text asking what seems to be the problem. There was confusion with key code having 2 key locks. Eventually we got in at first glance it looked nice, but there was an old musky smell then entering the front living room the smell got stronger like a damp odour. The glass on the table moved wasn't fixed property and the corner sofa was filthy with only a small walk way round a corner sofa that clearly took most of the space causing me to catch my leg trying to get through the gap, leaving me bruised down left leg and bruised from catching my knee on corner of the glass table that was sharp and dangerous if a child was running around read from previous reviews. Bought food in to cook, only to find the oven weren't getting hot had to ring Lenka again, told her the issue her reply was she will get another cooker while we were staying there, nothing happened no one called round to the property. We had to make a decision about staying any longer, the next morning we packed and left 3 days earlier. The bed downstairs we could feel it was hard in the middle not comfortable and the toilet when we arrived had a sanitised seal, I broke the seal to my disgust the toilet bowl had excrement left on it, clearly the cleaner hadn't done a good job.

The hot tub was nice, but the chlorine was very strong and it wasn't that private. When we arrived to use it in the evening, we couldn't see much because the light was round the corner, that didn't light around the corner where the hot tub was and wobbly steps leading up to the hot tub in the dark was not safe. We only used it once the next day being overlooked.

The hot tub was really small, dirty and was not turned on, on arrival and it was 24 hours before we could actually use the hot tub. It was the worst hot tub I have ever had the displeasure of using. The only reason we booked was for the hot tub and it was a massive disappointment. There was also no tumble dryer or line to dry any clothes, the only place to dry clothes was a home made rack, in the middle of the kitchen, and the only way it was any use was either 24hrs to dry anything or having to turn the heating on. The master bedroom had no private en suite as the doors were separate and the bedroom had a door the shower, toilet had a door next door but no door to both, so anybody walking down the corridor can see as you passed from one to another. There was minimal storage for any clothes. The whole house was designed around sleeping as many as possible, up to 8, but no room to function, the sofa was far to big for the living room, kept tripping over the coffee table and also put a table in there as well in one small living room. For the money I paid, I expect basic creature comforts and a base that is not just functional but comfy, family friendly and this was a disappointment.

The bedrooms were nice, plenty of room to sleep. The cafe across the road was amazing, would definitely recommend if you staying.

The contact with host was non existing when there was a problem. Had to get my husband to call to sort out late check out because both late check out and early check in was requested however the host only accept one request and never told us. Day before departure I had received an email from booking.com to say 9am checkout, I messaged her and no response for 4 hours again. The property was not cleaned there was cobwebs in the corner of the walls, food on the walls in the living room. It was quoted "a large double bed" it is two single bed divans pushed together and is extremely uncomfortable down the middle. Hot tub was unusable for the first day as it was" cleaned" however the next day there was sand and floating and a tangy smell coming from the water. It was unusable the whole duration because it semlt of sewage water at the end of the visit and sadly no one used it.

The area was absolutely breathtaking.

No real drawbacks to this property, but it is on quite a busy road. There was no noise when the windows were shut, but when open there was some traffic noise. This didn't worry us, but it is worth mentioning for those who might not feel the same.

Plenty of room, clean and comfortable. We loved the hot tub, and the hostess Lenka was very responsive and eager to ensure everything was just right. Very close to the beach and maybe a 10-15 minute flat stroll to main bars and restaurants, although there were a couple of cafes and a restaurant in the immediate vicinity.
