A very nice cabin stay in a rural, quiet location. The fairy lights create a magical experience when you first enter. Bed was comfortable and got a good nights sleep. Easy to find, host provided directions prior to arrival.

Dogs had been allowed in and there was a few hairs found although didn’t really see anyone to speak about raise this with.

Great location! I came to get away from everyday life for a few days so the quiet location was perfect! With the added bonus of a hot tub, I had an extremely relaxing few days to recharge the batteries! Thank you!

There was nothing that we didn't like, even the weather was great for this time of the year.

Everything, the accommodation was excellent, just looked like a charming fairy house, with the fairy lights long the wall, the little doors and the big giant wooden bed. The kichen area had everything that you would need. The outside area was well set up with the hot tub, dining area, decking and more lights. Top marks to the host Graham fantastic place to stay. If you are looking for somewhere to eat, we would recommend The Square Hotel in Kintore and Via Roma in Inverurie, both had great food, great staff and great atmosphere

Brilliant value for money. Hot tub easy to get started and as good as a jacuzzi. Plenty fire starters and logs provided + easy instructions. Plenty seating outside and a bbq area as well. Very private, comfortable and cosy

Disappointed there wasn’t a coffee machine.

Design of the cabin was very good and the location was secluded and private. The hot tub and decking area were perfect to sit out and enjoy the surroundings.

Everthing, super location, gorgeous accommodation nipping clean and a clearly busy host but never to busy to chat. Can't find a single fault. We will return

Absolutely loved our stay with our dog. The cutest little fairy lit lodge ever, peaceful and quiet but close enough to shops etc. Graham was super friendly and answered my many questions so quickly, he really thought of everything we needed in the lodges. The beds were super comfortable and I need to get my hands on those pillows for myself!! Hot tub was great and area for bbq with all the utensils provided. The best trip away for a few days peace and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Only booking 2 nights!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Mithertap was the definition of the perfect couple getaway! Situated in the countryside just off of the motorway, it is very private and peaceful and easy to find and just a short drive away from the closest town and half an hour away from Aberdeen. Plenty of facilities on offer, including indoor kitchen and a barbeque pit which can be enjoyed on the seating available on the deck and of course the fire pit powered hot tub which got even better when the sun went down and the coloured lights could be turned on. Bed was extremely comfortable and even though we stayed during the hottest July the lodge stayed nice and airy/cool. All the added in extras such as the fairy lights and chandelier gave it that extra sparkle! Will definitely be back and have already countlessly recommended to family and friends.

A bigger mirror but that’s it! Everything else was perfect!

What’s not to like about the property! It’s in a lovely remote area but not too far from everything either if you want to go out for the day. The cabin itself was just stunning such a cute lodge! It has everything you need too from a lovely soft bed to internet! The hot tub was lovely too. The host Graham is so nice! Loved it all!
