I loved the hot tub and how the lodge is away from others but still in the resort so you can get food, theirs a pool, and the hikes and  views are amazing! I really enjoyed my stay

It would have been more excellent if there was a covering, like a collapsible roof over the area where we have the hot tub.

I like the preparation in place for our arrival, the host left us a bottle of wine and welcome card, which makes us feel important, the hot tub was on and warm for our arrival; it was private and next to the master room.

Pet friendly but pets only allowed in the front room and so may need to take a cage if dog anxious if separated at night in unfamiliar place. No batteries in the remote controls!

What an amazing cosy lodge privately tucked away in a large lodge site. Kate the owner text on the day of arrival asking if we got there ok and if we needed any assistance whatsoever to just let her know. The Xmas decorations were up which my wife loved and also a complimentary bottle of prosecco when we arrived. The lodge itself is stunning and very homely and has everything you need to have a nice relaxing break. About 10 mins in a taxi to windermere too so close enough to enjoy the pubs and restaurants. We will definitely keep this lodge in mind if we ever stay in windermere again and we would recommend it to anyone who is wanting to stay there.

We personally would have appreciated Wi-Fi, though I understand better Wi-Fi is being installed some time next year but we missed it during our stay. Next time we would bring extra pillows. Although I appreciate the owners wanting to maintain their beautiful property, having already read the rules in the welcome pack, having them repeated on signs all over the property was a little stifling.

The hot tub was amazing and really liked that someone came and maintained it daily. The placement of the lodge on the park was perfect, very secluded and private. The decor was lovely and calming and it was very clean. The welcome pack was really informative and the extra sundries provided were handy.

It was in a lovely location so easy to get to Ambleside and Bowness which had lovely walks for our Labrador . Very comfy beds. The lodge had everything we needed. So clean and Cosey beautiful interior. Hotub lovely.

The smoke alarm as it is above the cooker and when you cook it would go off.

The weather! It rained all the time so we didn’t get to sit out on the lovely deck but the hot tub in the rain was fun!

The only thing I can say would be the bed quilts. On the week where the weather was hot and sunny, the quilts were lovely but thick and too warm at night.

loved this property! so clean and spacious and full of character. you really feel the family vibe in this lodge and it’s full of gorgeous ornaments and decoration. The rooms were really decent sizes and very comfy beds! We had great service and speedy responses from the Kate the property owner and we will definitely be returning! it’s also in such a lovely area and convenient location for walking and shopping.

The damage deposit meant we struggled to relax as we have two dogs who love the mud!! But there was a hose outside which made cleaning them very easy.

The lodge is stunning inside, clean, modern. Ideal for both couples and families.

Would have liked a hand towel for bathroom. Cleaners need to be more thorough, had to wipe down George Forman and frying pan before use. Would have liked a bigger frying pan and a lemon juice squeezer.

The location was set in a beautiful resort and was in a central location. The lodge was very private and secure, suitable for children and dogs.
