The owner Phil met us as we arrived and helped us greatly with moving our luggage in and organizing a parking spot close by. The accommodation was very close (walking distance) to fantastic restaurants, cafes and bars. Mention the Mirador at one of the restaurants and automatically be given 20% discount! Phil also had so much information about the area and gave us great tips even more as we headed off!

There was a bunch of grapes in a bowl in the hall but they were plastic. My fingers are numb so I didn't realise as I pulled a grape off it's plastic stem. Sorry....

The decor was a bit OTT but memorable and so much better than a bland guesthouse. Fantastic breakfast in the room.

Quite a few cob webs with spider, especially around patio seating and fencing😱 but didn’t stop us enjoying it😀

Lovely room nice to have a different experience. Hosts and breakfast were excellent, good value for money! On street parking only but we did get a space thankfully. We look forward to staying again at the French room😀

There simply wasn’t anything not to like about The Mirador.

The Mirador is simply an outstanding property. The room was absolutely stunning, the bed super comfy, the bathroom stunning. The little touches were above and beyond, we were attending the Take That concert on entering our room they were playing on the TV. The fridge was extremely well stocked. The communication was second to none with recommendations of restaurants and places to visit.

It was exactly as it said in the advert. Totally different experience and was a great way to end our holiday. Everyone should stay in a place that is different like this at least once in their lives. Go on, Spoil yourself.

Excellent service provided by Phillip, prompt response to questions and accommodating our requests for an earlier check in and later check out. He also provides information on local attractions and suggested places to eat. The hotel is centrally located, a short walk to catch the bus to Swansea City Centre.

That we only stayed one night.

Very individually finished property which I really liked - not bland at all !! Decent sized room with big bathroom and great shower. Really liked the provision for drinks and breakfast and also included a microwave. The large terrace at the back was a real plus with sun in the morning and the afternoon when we were there. Also during our stay it was very quiet. Contact with hosts most excellent and access so easy. Also location with on street parking great and so close to the many bars, restaurants, shops etc in Uplands a few minutes walk away was prefect.

The bed was really comfortable, in a spacious room with good facilities. Each room is decorated in a different way which is quirky but very well done. Highly recommend!

Breakfast experience was amazing. as there were a big selection of cheeses, milk, platter of ham and salami, yoghurts, honey , jams and selection of bread. Selection of tea and coffee. We have enjoyed the breakfast so much

Lovely room, which was beautifully and quite amazingly appointed in full Ancient Egyptian style., which made it alot of fun to be in and explore. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast in room was nice and relaxing.

The only thing I didn't like is that we had to leave.

Beautiful unique hotel! We loved it! Our room was beautifully done. Lovely, friendly informative messages from the owners. The Roll Top bath was the winner for me. Treats to eat/drink and bath treats left in the room were the best selection I've ever seen. We will definitely be coming back to try a different themed room soon.

"The only negative things i will mention about was cause the Egyptian Pharaohs guest room was high up in the lap of the gods", the highest bedroom in the Mirador guest house, It took a while for the shower facilitiy to heat up to required hot temp, i was able to get a reply quick from the owners who run this guest house, to find out why it was taking longer than expected for shower facility water to warm up... the only other thing i was a bit wary about was closing the second door handle in my guest bedroom, wondering if the door handle was secure enough for my stay, I think on reflection this was due to my past experiences in other places i have been to in which, i have had negative experinces of being accidently locked in toilets as the door handle has unexpectedly becoming jammed.

Wow, I really liked the idea of sweet music sounds playing at the entrance of The Mirador Hotel to welcome you,. I have been stayed at several hotels and guest houses, and it's the first time i have been welcomed like that in such a wonderful way, ! I thought the decor was exceptional good, it was obviously a lot of though attention to detail, had gone into doing this, with the extra lovely touches to get it just right for expected guests such as myself, such as the Egyptian Pharaohs ornaments and furniture pieces, the living room/bedroom space continuing into the statement decor bath/ shower facilities too, I must say i was well impressed by this... the bed was lovely too not too soft or hard mattress, Thank you for making my overnight stay for my birthday such an enjoyable experience.🎂 I have been telling my friends and family about this guest house in the Uplands, as i definitely recommend this as place to stay whether for leisure or business trip...
